@gougetheeyes and I have decided to try an get another meetup going, this time we thought that Manhattan would be a better choice to possible be easier for everyone to get to. Nothing 100% solid for the date yet but it will be in the first or second week in November on either a Sun, Mon, Tues. I don't carry assisted types anymore since they confiscated mine twice when I lived in Newark (bastards!). Apparently in the fantastic state of NJ they fall in a grey area. If I am in NYC or in a suit I carry this little guy otherwise I got this guy and I always keep a fixed blade/leatherman in my jeep and carry those when I am out of urban areas. Nothing beats a kabar when you actually need to do anything with a blade.

Agreed, BME is the best source for piercing and other stuff I have to say I have not heard usenet being brought up for quite some time now. (I still use it haha)

While I am far from full coverage I can say I am actually moving along way faster than I had thought. My first ever tattoo session was June 1st of last year. Since then I have gotten a pretty large area of my body covered already (you actually have seen some of that transformation in person haha). In a year and a half I have already covered half a calf, one bicep, and my entire one thigh. While far from body-suit territory, in the time it took, it went way faster than I had imagined. At the rate I am booked out getting tattoo (every 2 weeks minimum) I am going to be on track to get covered before I am 30.

Cool stuff! Now I am very interested at what would cost a months mortgage. Also as far as timing goes for a meetup, I'm getting tattooed at 10pm that night, got my schedule changed around a bit. Not sure when everyone is down to meetup but depending where in NYC I'm cool up to about 9:15ish, or if closer downtown 9:30ish. Kinda lame but I'm still down to meetup for a bit. Otherwise I'm doing nothing all day Saturday.

Under guidance from my attorney I filled it out, and he said "it's better to not have to worry about lying on a government document." It's probably overkill but whatever.

I always thought along those lines as well. Lots of blank skin = lots of potential business. I guess the thinking of the heavier tattooed people usually means they are very willing to get a tattoo, probably right away with little need to go over the "basics" (ie, after-care, 'how much will this cost', etc)
