  1. I actually prefer (at least with western and Japanese traditional) the "worn in" look.
  2. It would be pretty dope if they "converted" some of the back issues of TAM into the collection edition. There are a few I spotted that I would love to read. I'm just praying that they don't focus too much on the "culture" but more on the tattoos. There are enough "tattoo culture" magazines out there!
  3. I really don't mind waiting so much. I waited for 7ish months for one tattoo and about a year and a half for another. I like it because it feels like waiting for your birthday as a kid and finally getting your gift. Plus if there weren't waits I would have been half covered by now. If you really don't want a wait do what I did. Sign up for consecutive sessions with the same artist and keep booking out. Been going to the same artist without any real breaks since last November, and currently booked out till May 2013.
  4. Thanks for the links! Looks awesome. I am also a big collector of quality print media.
  5. If you don't mind me asking what did you get? (also didn't know he did piercings)
  6. You know what would be fun for halloween? Getting a tattoo!
  7. We don't usually stay out too late. Worst case if there are any stragglers from NJ I can drop yer asses off at Newark Penn or Secaucus on my way back, as I prefer to drive in.
  8. I just found out that Tattoo Collector Magazine is the same thing as Tattoo Artist Magazine minus some technical information and advertising is different.
  9. Awesome stuff! Really glad you shared that with us.
  10. From what I've been hearing, similar rules are being implemented all over the place. I know I heard something about the US military cracking down hard on tattoos as well.
  11. Scarily short list but this is getting fixed soon! Regino Gonzales (2 + 1 entire leg) Stewart Robson Paulino
  12. Hello and welcome to LST. When did Liorcifer leave Tribulation to open Infernum?
  13. I like rewatching them too. Over the last week I watched Troy, Stewart and Valerie again.
  14. Just got a nice surprise today in my inbox. Looks like sometime next year I might be getting tattooed by Thomas Hooper!
  15. Sounds close to what I do myself, except the re-wrapping. The wrapping I get from the shop usually is slippery with blood and usually I got a nice streak of blood down my leg/arm, so for me I gotta clean up anyway. Also I gotta say those are the most complete hand-out aftercare instructions I have seen yet!
  16. This show would be bearable if they didn't have to tattoo shitty ideas onto people. It would be kinda redeemed in my mind if they instead took the approach as follows: 1. The artist has 100% control over the tattoo. 2. The challenges were just like this (Japanese one day, next day American Traditional, next day Realism, etc). I think this would still keep things happy for the drama people (whatever they could keep that shit) but it would hopefully get some better tattoos churned out. Sadly, this will never happen. People like the idea of schadenfreude, which is kinda sad. Oh well, I'm just really happy I got LST interviews, Tattoo Age and Gypsy Gentleman to keep me occupied.
  17. the 45 is for boxes, and this is for self-defense
