  1. Just checked out Eric's work, it looks awesome! It's great to find some of these lesser know tattooers that are kicking out awesome stuff!
  2. She might be in the same boat I was when I got my first tattoo, actually sounds strikingly similar. I got exactly what I asked for but not what I wanted. Between that experience and hanging out LST, I learned what is good or bad. Now knowing this I can see the frustration you got on your hands.
  3. Damn that is a bit of a change. Although playing xbox and getting tattooed doesn't sound bad at all.
  4. I guess this is similar to the regret I have every time I eat White Castle...
  5. haha yea my roommate in college got his punched out to a decent size then gauged up a size or two at the same time.
  6. BME: Tattoo, Piercing and Body Modification News » ModBlog » The Eyeball Tattoo FAQ a better "FAQ" on eyeball tattoing.
  7. might as well throw up my own snake. I fuckin love it! (Yes thats fully healed)
  8. I know this struggle. I would have been one of those people getting their ears stitched up if I hadn't gotten a nasty outcome from trying to stretch my ears. Never figured out what went wrong but it wasn't fun. Still got the scar tissue and continuing issues every once in awhile. I know a few people that underwent the cut and stitch. A ton of my old friends stretched to pretty big sizes (over 1.5")
  9. laser then blast over it with an epic backpiece!
  10. Sounds awesome! I am going to make it a point to go next year (tattoo scheduling provided). What cool stuff did you get? You to @gougetheeyes Side note it is probably a good thing I didn't make any plans for Saturday or Sunday since I ended up at the shop until about 3am.
  11. Yea since I first saw it posted, it seemed to have picked up pace much more rapidly than I had thought it would (apparently there are a decent amount of people that do this procedure). While the idea sounds kinda interesting to me (I dont really consider it a tattoo), it just seems like there are way too many possibilities for issues to arise, which for me is the last nail in the coffin as a bad idea. I have heard some postings about it on the interwebs that have clued to issues people are having with them. Apparently some people also tried the "poke" method, which has far worse results.
  12. so there might be two people at the meetup with some fresh work. not bad
  13. @ShawnPorter Just stopping in to see if you did post anything new. This as well as offer any help if you need/want as I have no problem lending a hand and got some tech skills.
  14. got a session on the 3rd, so the 4th looks dope for me.
  15. wow haha. yea i missed it...guess that's what I get for only half-reading on my phone.
  16. realistic color, black and grey realism, "new school", heavy blackwork/tribal, "trash style", etc
  17. So as I gather second week Sunday in November is looking prime right now. I could solidify that date for then (we talking the 4th or the 11th). also @gougetheeyes im assuming this is all good with you.
  18. That is always a good sign! I agree on a bike that sat around for that long I would yank it down to the frame. Between the hidden gremlins in the motor/trans to varnish gas (or worse, rusted tanks cause they sat empty).
  19. Come down the Newark, NJ and the surrounding towns. We got plenty of tattooed cops. Hell I've seen a small hand tattoo and neck tattoo before. Cities (especially ones that are a bit rougher) seem to be OK with them. Funny thing is where I live now is one of the most expensive towns in NJ and we have at least 2 fully sleeved cops.
  20. Amazing purchase! I was involved in a restore of a 60's panhead that sat for over a decade. My friend got it from his dad who let it sit under a deck for god knows how long. Damn oil came out with the consistency of glue.
