  1. Looking into it. - - - Updated - - - Tell him to check spam
  2. It ain't done yet but it's moving along... Matt Van Cura @ Invisible NYC
  3. Do what I did the last time I met an LSTer, look for familiar tattoos!
  4. Hey man any new tattoos?

  5. Looks like I am a go! Just figuring out how long I want to stay for and then just get the OK from work to take off. We gotta get @gougetheeyes out here too!
  6. For the most part you will not know if you had ink fall out until it is near the "shiny skin" phase unless you see pink scar tissue. If it looks lighter/hazy in some spots, don't consider it lost just yet!
  7. Well I'm not too shy, I just have a habit for mistaking strangers for people I know (something I do on the regular). If you do happen to see me feel free to yell something at me.
  8. Usually I try to follow the artist's recommendations on aftercare, but a little FYI, I actually dry-heal all of my tattoos. It may suck a bit but really they have all healed fine. Your mileage may vary.
  9. I never keep the wrap on longer then it is to get home. Usually I am a bloody mess by the time I walk in the front door. Hell, Sunday I had full-on blood streaks running into my socks while waiting for my sister at Adorned. As far as the OP, I say don't worry about it. I used to make sure it touched nothing but now I just try to sleep. First night I put some aquaphor on it so it doesnt cling to the sheets but otherwise dont worry. Also...invest in black bedsheets. I've always had em, but they are killer for not showing up ink/blood stains unlike my poor comforter which has a Raijin imprint on it. Damn tattoo ink is hard to wash out!
  10. Every time I get tattooed I wonder if anyone in the shop is an LSTer
  11. I do have to say I generally find myself with peoples music the next day after I drink. Hell, even when I visited @gougetheeys some dude gave me a soundcloud businesscard (lame). I have a stack of demo CDs on my nighstand that I never remember getting. The vinyl was a serious upgrade, as was meeting Phil.
  12. Sunday was family get poked with needles day. Got my knee tattooed colored in (no bueno), the took my sister over to Adorned to get 2 piercings for her Christmas present. (I told her I'll pay for her first tattoo when she wants to get something that looks good).
  13. Ol' slayer might is in the plans of trying to get out there as you well know. Not 100% but lets see what we can do!
  14. Thought I'd drop this here. Apparently while drunk at a bar, Phil from Pantera walked up to me and we talked for a bit...I don't remember this (a friend told me), but I did wake up with his new vinyl. Weird.

People have given their answers to your question, and it seems you are ignoring them. This really is fine but I don't understand the point of asking the question. Most posters at LST genuinely try to give the best advice. In the end it is your body and your tattoo, so if you'd like to risk it, that is fine. As far as live and let live, then come back in for a touch, you might hit some friction there. I know anyone who has tattooed me has no problem doing free touchups IF you follow their directions for aftercare.. If you disregard their professional opinion, I'm sure they will touch it up, but at a price. As far as my one personal experience with this, I can say. I've modified the last 3 summers to no pools, direct sun, oceans, beachers, etc because I invested some serious cash, time, pain and my artist's time into my tattoos, and until I'm done healing them all, I will keep doing that. Yea it can suck but I also don't want a wrecked tattoo.
  16. I don't know but I've had enough hours in the chair at this point (and go frequently enough ) I'm not all too keen on the pain in getting tattooed. Especially places like the back or front of the knee or armpit. Knee makes me wanna vomit. Also as the guys at the shop said you got enough you can bitch about it a bit. Upside is apparently I sit like a rock. Edit: that being said I still don't use any cream or crap just a beer or two because beer tastes good
  17. Yea also an LST related issue. I got bumped up to get tattooed earlier. Absolutely
  18. @ironchef, @dirbab, @Jack, @HaydenRose, @xmowglix, and all else My schedule has changed today and I am going to be in NYC a bit later, and will have to cancel last minuet. Hope all get this message early enough.
  19. If you did that would be a killer combo next to each other, Garver/Regino combo! Do it!!
  20. Easy choice for me, Regino Gonzales. Just about all my tattoos are from him, and I plan on going to him until he retires or I run out of space, whichever comes first. His style is a 100% match for what I like, and he seriously puts down a killer tattoo whether its a more simple traditional tattoo (like my gypsy lady) or a huge super-fancy tattoo like my entire leg dragon/Raijin tattoo he is still working on. I've seen a ton of his work from just being in the shop, plus my friends get work by him, and I can say he nails every style amazingly. Another big contributing factor is Invisible NYC. I cannot say I've been in a better shop. Even from day one everyone was super cool. Every time I go there it feels more like visiting a friends house than going to get tattooed. I will say that a very close second would be Stewart Robson, for very much the same reasons, he is just too far away.
  21. I just can't wait to be rocking my battle jacket with my suit. Its gunna be weird going to a concert straight from work. Needless to say its gunna be fun!
