In my experience, most people I know started getting tattoos when they were young. I thought that if you didn't get them in your teens or early 20s you won't get them at all. More and more I noticed on this site that some people were "late" in the game getting tattooed. I always joked with my parents that they should get a tattoo, and they always say they are too old. I know that there is no experation date on getting started, especially since I saw this article Needles and Sins Tattoo Blog | 101-Year-Old Woman Gets Third Tattoo. I also know that @Hogrider got his first at 54. I also remember some people saying they wish they waited (actually seems to be a common theme for those who got tattooed before their 20s). What are your guys thoughts about the timing to get tattooed? also this is pretty cool http://www.needlesandsins.com/2009/04/danish-woman-celebrates-103rd-birthday-with-a-tattoo.html

Riviera Maya or Cabo LST Get Together?
slayer9019 replied to tammy's topic in LST Get Togethers & Tattoo Conventions
While it would be awhile from now, I can say that I am 99.9999% down to do this. 2014 would probably be better as I am in a constant state of being tattooed till probably next summer. Fresh tattoos+ocean+sun=bad. I'm down for 4-5 star hotels (live in it up!). I agree that all inclusive is best as if there is a lot of people it could get confusing. -
i think .22s are seriously under-rated. fun, CHEAP, available and did I say cheap? Plus they are great for honing in your shot groups. Like my dad said if you can't get good groups with a .22 what the hell do you think you will do with a .308?

Unnoticed I think not! Welcome!

Still searching anything revolving around anal leakage or "butt tears" is probably not going to come up SFW material. My office has glass walls so I'm pretty out in the open here.

Almost googled that at work...then quickly realized that might be a mistake.

For me the point of a tattoo is so I can look at it....no I would not squat over a mirror to check out my sweat butthole tattoo. Also how CAN you keep that clean?

"Leg sleeve" tattoos (aka squid pants)
slayer9019 replied to slayer9019's topic in Tattoo Designs, Books and Flash
holy shit! now THAT is some squidpants! -
Not to go back and forth (as I've seen too much on all of the gun forums out there) but as I've seen most people are not tactically trained. Even if they are trained, to draw a weapon, locate the assailant, index the target and accurately place shots while being shot at in a dark movie theatre with a lot of environmental problems like other people, etc. This also with the fact of not hitting another person I stand by my position.

There are plenty of good threads over at some of the good gun forums about this Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association is a good place for info about this as are some survivalist forums as those guys have a lot of there own ranges. The best thing to do is first look up local regulations about firearms discharging on private property, also ask your neighbours! After it's all clear with the legal stuff, make sure you got a good backstop. Sandbags are ok but really a big old pile of dirt that is thick with no rocks in it is optimal. Rocks cause dangerous deflections. Depending on caliber fired will help determine thickness of backstop but ticker is always better. Also make sure it is pretty high as stray rounds are bad. A good sight about over-penetration (no laughs) and general kick-ass gun knowledge is box-o-truth.

Love my 44. While no longer the biggest with the 500express and 50ae pistols I still live that hand cannon

At least for myself it would be too much of a hassle to be worth it. Plus what about when you wash you hands at work or shake hands. You would be undoing the cover-up plus you will always be able to see where the tattoo was. Not everyone is a makeup artist.

Advice for someone who is terrified of needles
slayer9019 replied to Natveggie45's topic in Tattoo Advice
Agreed. It is a very different experience. I associate getting burned more with getting tattooed, as it is the closest feeling I can relate it to. -
If anyone had tried to counter, it would have been a miracle if they actually hit him. To anyone who ever shot at a range, you can understand this. It was dark, loud, people moving/screaming, etc. Even if you were close, people usually carry smaller guns (snubs, pocket .380s, etc) which makes effective range close to null. I know I personally wouldn't have fired back. You probably had a good chance of hitting another person.
