  4. while it does look awesome, I cant really get past that the flag is in the wrong order.
  5. I've read a couple books about the whole piercing/tattoo culture thing that included the history of it. From what I've heard any non-standard piercing was considered very weird up until recently. If anyone has an open mind I can PM them some good books that cover a ton about piercings
  6. You got some cool stuff there! Only real collections I got to do with tattoos is the tattoos I got, and I also buy prints and t-shirts from artists I like which usually aren't directly tattoo imagery.
  7. Hey Matthew! Your tattoos and paintings look great! (also guns, motorcycles and skateboards are cool too!) You'll get along great here!
  8. Hey how's it going. What shop do you work at?
  9. Just saw this on InvisibleNYC's Instagram. Pretty dope. By Beau Brady
  10. Yea like someone stated earlier blacked out limbs look like either first a cover-up, or second some I know have done it as a straight out tattoo. While I definitely like some super-heavy blackwork stuff, straight out entire limb blackout it s a bit intense. Coming from someone who is freaking out on trying to jam a ton of awesome artists onto my very bare skin right now, I could never think about a big black arm/leg/etc. Bare skin is too precious to myself. That being said you might like it. Other than the sake of this thread, I might spin up a designs thread on heavy blackwork (not really blacked out limbs) and see what turns up, as I've seen some interesting stuff. Judging by the types of tattoos on LST, I dont think there will be much chatter related to it. Here are some examples of close-to-blackout and complete blackout work to show you what you'd be looking at. all in all I stand by my opinion that if this is for a coverup, you might be better off just waiting to laser and just work on other tattoos.
  11. I personally love the "mosh pits". Between the one Cannibal Corpse show or the Machine Head show I was at I had a blast. Did get some permanent scars but it was all in fun.
  12. Guess that is kinda true. I love the fact that I get to hide away from the clients at my job while I code. Minimal facetime = awesome for me!
  13. I do have to ask are you blacking out to cover up tattoos? I know most of the time this is the case. Also in my opinion if you feel like you might regret it wait for a bit
  14. I give you respect for doing web dev work. Personally I just pull my hair out trying to deal with clients, hence the reason I got out of it as fast as I possibly could. I'm not a real "people person".
  15. was that the guy with the $1500 bicycle, etc that said he couldn't spend more than 300 on a tattoo because it would put his family in a bad financial situation?
  16. I do have to say these are very well done! I love when a new episode comes out, I go straight to my living room and watch it on the big screen. I would love to see him come back to NYC, as there are so many good artist and stuff going on over here.
  17. just picked up this app. (yes it's an old thread!) - - - Updated - - - my name is slayer9019 (same as here). i have a feeling between LST, Instagram and draw something I will never end up paying attention on conference calls again!
