  1. I would be really surprised that it would go over 5 hours. My artist even told me he doesn't like going over 2-3 hours at a time and doesn't really expect people to sit that long. Personally 3 hours in I'm usually kinda shot. I'd call but I think you're fine.
  2. Hate to be that guy but I gotta point out it is against the forum rules to get to 10 posts quick just to start threads Like @Graeme said, many questions have already been answered so try using the search first as you might find all the information you are looking for. Also if you cannot find the answer to your question post it in your intro thread.

  7. Yea I remember picking it up on BME as well. Carries over well
  8. Relevant to this thread and forum One Man Metal documentary (also has interviews with tattooer and metal artist Jef Whitehead)
  9. Just reviving this thread. Anyone know if Jef is still at Taylor St?
  10. It is usually best to search for other threads before starting new ones so we can continue the already started conversation.
  11. "and kids that's why you get a real tattoo." What I will say if I ever have kids.
  12. Thread has been started already. http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/general-tattoo-discussion/2545-tattoo-nation.html http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/general-tattoo-discussion/2319-tattoo-nation-movie.html
  13. @Jack use online, NJ is kinda crap. The range sounds awesome!
  14. Wow that is a hellva lot of lasering!
  15. The weird thing is this was the easiest time I've ever had not smoking. Only a couple blips of cravings. I still have partial packs scattered around the house/car and probably half a carton sitting on my dresser. The only major difference between this time quitting and the ones in the past is I really just got fed up. I wasn't quitting for single reason like cost, health, girlfriend, family, etc. I just simply didn't want another cigarette for whatever reason. One weird thing I have to get used to is actually being able to smell cigarettes now. Before I could never actually smell cigarettes, smokers or pretty much anything to tell you the truth.
  16. Agreed. Back of the knee was all around horrible. Mine looked pretty rough for a long time. About a month and a half to look normal
  17. Also forgot to mention the 2 facts about self-defense weapons. 1. A gun is only good for defense if you know how/can to use it 2. It's only as good as your training. It's a tool. 3. Remember Index, fire, re-index. Smaller cal weapons tend to be easier to re-index. 4. 15+ in the stack is better than 8 in the stack 5. If your accurate just about any cal. is a "man stopper" 6. Disregard #5 there is no such thing as a "man stopper" also just about every round over-penetrates in a home scenario. check out http://www.theboxotruth.com/ - Even the "wimpy" 22LR will easily pop through 6 sheets of drywall.
  18. To end the debate all over the internets... This is the only true 1-shot man-stopper pistol 50BMG In the palm of your hand. In reality there has been soo many statistics and debates over the years that to me show it really just comes down to personal preference. Like myself I prefer a wheel gun for reliability. While I've only had a couple jams or stovepipes over the years, nothing is more reliable than a hammerless wheelgun.
  19. I personally never really liked all the nicotine replacement crap. You still get super-edgy, but you are never really quit until you get the nicotine out of your system. Never really understood the use of that stuff.
  20. Yea probably my 1 millionth time quitting but this time it wasn't really planned. I only realized yesterday I just hadn't had a cigarette at all since about Thursday. Normally I smoke about 2 packs a day. Only just in the last hour or so have I been getting cravings.
  21. Seems I just quit smoking. It's been weird for the last two days haven't touched one. Been a smoker since 13 years old. Anyone else ever quit?
  22. There are a number of good shops in NYC. I suggest coming down for a day and visiting a few. Invisible NYC Saved Tattoo Daredevil Tattoo Adorned NY Thicker Than Water and that is to name a few.
  23. I do have to say that even though my parents know I got a bunch of tattoos I won't show them until it's done. Being my mom is an artist she appreciates them when they are done.
  24. Normally I have to carry cash at least a hundred in NYC since it seems a lot of the places I frequent don't take card (aka 10 minimum at the bagel shop). Getting tattooed I usually withdraw a few hundred right before I walk in. Nothing feels worse than walking around with a stack of 20s
