bongsau, have you ever heard of a Canadian punk band, Mung? My long time internet buddy Peeker plays bass in the group. I'll try the solidarity rock website from home since it is blocked at work. My wife and I have been wanting to visit Cuba for years and will try to get there before McDonalds and Starbucks show up after everything opens up for U.S. travel. We were in Jamaica and Grand Cayman last week and sailed past Cuba on the way home.

Brilliant post, soraya! I think many here can relate, including men. For me, this paragraph in particular: On a separate yet slightly related note, I just finished reading an article by a woman who was dealing with another woman (non-tattooed) who stated "tattoos are essentially down to vanity". The writer said that the definition of "vanity" is in fact the opposite of how she and her friends feel about themselves. She went on to say that they were not entirely content about their appearance and lacked self confidence, which drove the desire for more ink. "Rather than getting ink because I have a high opinion of my personal appearance, I get ink precisely because that high opinion is absent. ...I am still on a journey to become comfortable with my own body." Skin Deep Nov. 2015 issue I know this may not be how others feel, but I thought it was interesting and worthy of sharing with LST.

What a great read this thread has been! I find myself agreeing with so much of what has been said so there's no need in regurgitating existing posts. Also, being able to disagree and remain civil is critical in a well functioning culture. Within the tribe, mentioning who tattooed something is just a natural part of the discussion. I'm glad to see many LST'ers have avoided the dreaded red carpet elitism, "Who are you wearing?". :D

That was a really fun read. There are a few technical holes for the techies, but otherwise a really enjoyable book. So far the movie reviews are mostly positive.

Hello and welcome from the Houston area. How long ago was that tattooed? I'd go to a doctor immediately for what I'm seeing in the second photo. They'll likely refer you to a dermatologist if it is something above their level, which is fine.

Wow, the appropriate words that accurately address this post would likely get me banned. I'll just cut to the chase and ask, why do you feel the need to act like a douche all the time? Perhaps you should keep your misery to yourself instead of trying to bring the world down to your level. Is this type of bullying is acceptable here in LST? And to @tattooscience, don't take his unwarranted attack personally. It appears by your posts that you've done nothing wrong and are clearly not the problem here.

Then you'll love this. It looks like NASA has posted almost every Apollo mission photo in high resolution on Flickr. They even have the blurry photos. https://www.flickr.com/photos/projectapolloarchive/albums Many of these were processed by my grandmother when she worked at JSC. I wish I knew where the photo paper 11x17's that she gave me went. :( Some of the not perfect prints could be taken home by the photo lab workers.
