Yeah best site out there for tattoo enthusiasts - all the best and may it last for many years to come !!

This is why I always ask people who want a tattoo "finished" who started the tattoo. In one case the girl couldn't locate the artist that had started a piece on her, because the shop he worked at no longer existed. When she told me his name, I actually had his business card in my back pocket for his new shop and he was able to finish the tattoo. The tattoo was all lined just needed to be shaded in so it would have been the easy to just have one of the guys finish it but not the right thing to do especially to a guy that was cool to me. It was that situation that taught me to ask because I figured the customer might not think to in most cases.

My "official" opinion is to deride and distance myself from it.
As hard as I may try not to, I think it's cool.
But there are a hell of a lot of things I think are cool that shouldn't be (and aren't) filmed, let alone uploaded to YouTube.

It went unnoticed because there's so much on this forum to keep one busy for days, but I wanted to give a shout out to LST for their one year anniversary last month. Thank you for a great forum and a great distraction from work. Here's to many more years of Last Sparrow Tattoo!!! :)

These are the best photos I could get after the first day in Kyoto (6hrs) I still have to get photos of the second day, which completed all the background on the upper arm. Everything is now nearly healed so I'll get some new ones soonish. Apologies for the dodgy photography but I'm pretty sure I was still vibrating haha

As stated in the Tattoo Newbie Guidelines thread:
Do not start threads asking about specific tattooing equipment or techniques, LST is not here to teach anyone how to tattoo. Ask your own tattooer, the next time you are getting tattooed. Maybe they'll answer you, maybe they won't.
Do not start threads regarding closely guarded trade secrets - this will keep LST a much more welcoming place for everyone, tattooers and enthusiasts alike.
Do not start threads asking questions about "breaking into the business" of tattooing.
If you do see threads like that, flag them for mods and try to ignore them until they can be deleted. We want LST to be a place that artists feel welcome, too, and those types of threads do nothing to foster that type of environment.

Well, it's been on me for two days now and is healing nicely.

I love it! My camera over saturates red for some reason, so the red looks much better in person.

I've been in several relationships with untattooed partners.
I don't seek out tattooed partners, but due to my social circles, that's just how things tend to work out.
Plus, tattooed chicks do ana.... err. Wrong thread.
One of my untattooed girlfriends had Dave Bruehl do a sleeve for her first tattoo.
My fiance (oh hey, I got engaged last week) has no tattoos but is talking large Thomas Hooper tattooing for her first tattoo.
I honestly rarely give it any thought.

ugh someone posted those noon photos in another thread... total shit. I think. The heart on the couple is one of the dumbest tattoos I've seen, ever. Just further proof that the general population has zero taste. At least on the last two the lines are clean, still ugly and look nothing like tattoos to me though.

I made another reaper, I wanted to share it 'cause I'm stoked on it. This is 6.5x6" embroidery and paint on linen.

so great! i love how cheeky he is, i can already see all the hipsters denouncing their hipsterness or just hating him for that clip, i love that guy! i'm really enjoying the fact that so far every tattooer's approach to work/life has been so different from the others.
