I can see that petroleum based creams cause can cause scabbing , but the creams themselves dont cause staph. As you say we are all covered in staph , but it doesn't become a problem until the skin is opened. I have been using bepanthen for years and have never had an infection. I think good hygiene ad not layering huge amounts of cream on the tattoo is key to preventing infection . On my most recent tattoos I have been rewrapping for 3 days and this has turned out the fastest healing scab free tattoos I have ever had.

Wheres the science for this ? Aquaphor is almost the same stuff as bepanthen (panthenol vit b cream) how can it give you staph ? From what I am led to believe, you get staph from not washing an open wound properly. I suppose if you are rubbing the cream in with dirty hands you can get it . But the cream doesnt cause it !! Im sure the Lawyers at eucerin would have something to say about those claims lol ...

My experience f cops has been mixed. I grew up in one o the roughest areas in my city , the cops there have a tough job and a lot of them are good. some of them are pricks too. cops are only human. some humans are good and some are pricks , if you cant see that then you are being naive .its human nature. Im really drunk right now and I apoligise if im not making any sense.

Och you are being naive. I have been stopped and searched by police for nothing and treated like shit when I was younger, power breeds corruption , people die in police custody etc. There's excellent police and shit police. they are all human and some humans will use their power to their own advantage, to bully and intimidate the vulnerble. Others will use it to help them.

Dinnae worry, I have scabbed like that and immediately shat myself when it bubbled up , looks way worse than it it's. It should heal fine . Don't hit with too much cream though. You'll probably need a wee touch up but nothing too bad

Been catching up on my comics. Started reading Brother Lono sort of follow up to 100 bullets . It's brutal. Waiting patiently to get the final installment of Locke and Key , possibly the greatest comic book series I have read. I have bought Joe Hill's novels on the back of it and will read them after Locke and Key has finished.
