Three weeks ago I told myself I'd give it a few months til the next one. The itch is strong. Still waiting on the February SFO convention lineup, though.
Looks fine! Remember that it's a tattoo and will therefore change appearance as it heals and ages, and try not to worry about it. You'll get used to it with time.
As much as I dislike Instagram, it can be good for finding artists. Check out the artists in your area and see who's doing skulls and roses that you like, and call one of their shops.
"Designated Survivor" is pretty good so far (though it's obviously colored a bit by Kiefer's previous role on 24) and "Superstore" and "The Good Place" are very funny.
Check out "Bushido: Legacies of Japanese Tattoos" and "Tattoos of the Floating World" - both by Ryudaibori and both very interesting primers on the subject of Japanese tattoos. He's more of a traditionalist than most but the background he gives is incredible.
Looks fine! Remember that it's a tattoo and not a drawing on paper - skin is a much trickier medium to master and things like that are common. I'd suggest trying not to worry about it. Maybe check in with your artist in a month, but there isn't a whole lot that needs to be done so soon after the initial appointment.
