So I got this little guy done on Friday, I used tegaderm for the first 2 days but it was oozing A LOT, more than normal for me and I ended up having to take it off early. I have an appointment on Thursday with a doctor to take a look at it, but I’d like to get others opinions just to ease my mind until I can see them. This is the first time a tattoo has done this, mainly in the leaves of the succulent. They have a yellow tint in some spots and I pressed down and it oozed more ink.

Newest piece done last weekend! Rocky Mountains from up here in Canada, and each moon represents the three members of my family. Myself, my mom, and my dad. The phase was matched to what the moon was like each day we were born on. Done by Jordyn at Classic Tattoo in Red Deer, AB, Canada Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will totally be speaking to my artist when she comes back from vacation; I just like to have some ideas going in! Just suggestions or image ideas for the space! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey there everyone. So I am looking for opinions on what I could possibly cover this text tattoo up with. I already have a lot of floral pieces on my legs so I’m not too keen on adding more. The first picture is of the tattoo itself and the second picture shows my forearm piece that the cover up would need to tie into. Any opinions or ideas would be great! As much as I’d like to laser it first I would have to travel a fair ways to get to someone reputable which is just not possible with my work schedule. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ended up getting tattood 2 weeks in a row, got the hourglass done by Jordyn at Classic Tattoo in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. My foot was done by Brittany at Inspiration Ink in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada. So glad both of my feet are now done. I forgot how painful that was [emoji23][emoji24][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks everyone! I ended up doing a completely different design, this one is still in the idea pile though. The one I got was a large palm size. I want to fill my legs but I'm short so I don't have a lot of real estate for pieces LOL! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I am wanting to get something similar to the picture I attached, but I'm wondering how small I could go with a piece like this. I want to do it on my lower leg where I have one very large shin piece. So I'd like to keep the rest smaller so I can obviously fit more on my short legs! This is just a mockup I've made with reference images to give my artist an idea of what I'm looking for, so obviously the design will change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finishing up my shin piece today, super excited since I normally get my pieces in one session. Unfortunately she only had time to do the outline for this one, these last three weeks have felt so slow moving! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Started this little guy the other day! Popped into one of my favorite shops for their walk-in Saturdays and my artist Jordyn came up with this to match my left shin which is a fox sitting in a rose. Go back for color on June 15th! The angle is kinda wonky in the second picture, it's hard to get a straight on shot of your own shins when you don't have a mirror! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got some work done a couple weeks ago. Finished up this sailor moon piece since I ended up getting sick right as we were finishing up! Had to do some color packing and the white highlights in a second session. Then she filled that elephant outline with the flowers! I've had the outline for a good 3 or 4 years (when I was a stupid tattood girl) and never knew what to do with it. She had some cute flower drawings and decided to slam those in there! Also got this shin piece done by Jordyn at Classic Tattoo in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada back in January! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have an appointment tomorrow with one of my artists to finish up my Sailor Moon piece and have her fill this terrible elephant outline I've had for YEARS! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you are interested and able to find it give tegederm or saniderm a try! I've used it on my tattoos that really rub against clothing and shoes and it saves my butt. Basically you will apply the film to the tattoo and you can leave it on for up to 6 or 7 days! It's breathable but keeps germs and water out. So it can heal up in a clean environment. It also really reduces scabbing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks! Her name is Jordyn, she works out of Classic Tattoo in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks!! I use unscented lubiderm because I'm unfortunately allergic to the aveeno! I snapped the pic before my morning lotion application, so it looks a little nicer now [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got this piece done last week! My artist was amazing and gave me exactly what I was looking for! The shin nearly killed me, but it turned out amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Super glad I found this topic! I just got this piece done last Wednesday. I healed with tegederm for the first 5 days. Just wanted to get everyone's opinions on how it's healing! This is my first color piece so it's a little different for me. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

kassandrac replied to Bigboy67's topic in Tattoo After Care
Just got a new piece yesterday on my left shin, and dang was that painful! It's been about 24 hours since it was wrapped up! Just applied the derm and man does it feel good! Has anyone else noticed that it helps with the after tattoo pain? I love it! -
Tegaderm/Saniderm/Tatuderm healing process
kassandrac replied to Bigboy67's topic in Tattoo After Care
Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I've read every page of this topic as this was my first experience with tegaderm. My artist applied a piece about 15 minutes after my piece was completed. After about 15 hours it was leaking EVERYWHERE ( he didn't leave enough space around the outside so an edge popped up and it was downhill from there) so I removed the original piece and went an bought a new one to place on it. I got my tattoo Wednesday (11th) and its now Saturday. I just removed the cover after the 3 days and it has immediately begun to peel and has become very dry. I'm just wondering if this is normal? Should i leave it for 24 hours before I apply any lotion? This is my first piece thats not font, so I am new to this kind of healing process. Also, any tips for bruising? I have a real nice bruise right along the inside of my thigh where the tattoo ends, it hurts like a bitch!
