blaze, I will not throw stones as your tattoos are better than mine right now. I will say the people here are not misleading you with criticisms. If you dont want to take advantage of the thoughts and experiences of people who are more educated than you about tattooing then your missing a golden oppurtunity IMO BTW your back bicep is also known as triceps

I am glad I found this place, I met a few local artists but didnt really know what I was looking at. The gang at LST pointed me in the right direction locally and gave me some good options if I wanted to travel

Thats good to know, I have emailed first and waited till told to call, this is mainly because of time difference and not knowing preference.

I have forgot about a client or session before(not tattooing), maybe he was away from appt book or working on it elsewhere and it slipped his mind. I would suspect that he would feel compelled to put his best foot forward after a slip up, but as others said if you see the drawing and its apparant he blew it off then address it.

in oklahoma city area we have about 38 shops according to the yellow pages. In the college town of norman I live in ~90k There are 4 tattoo shops in whats considered west norman. If the customer doesnt take time to educate him or herself the potential for getting bad work is really high. edit: after reading rest of thread I see this is common. In alot of cases people will blindly follow what someone with similar knowledge to themselves has to say on the subject.

Scott R commented on Scott Sylvia's blog entry in Scott Sylvia's Interviews, Articles, and Blogs
ryan I know what you mean, I had no real idea who tim hendricks was (just heard his name mentioned on here several times) I saw the interview with scott and was instantly a fan. I googled him and found I had about half of my idea folder filled with his stuff. I watced the kore interview early this morning and looked at his work online and thought damn ! my list of guys and girls I want work from is growing too fast. Kore flatmos work is awesome and just like tim I love his attitude and I want to make a trip to ohio(never thought I would say that) -
