I have been tattooing professionally for 2 years. I started late in life, i detailed cars for 8 years because it was a job, I was miserable. I loved painting, but never made and money off my work because they were mostly just gifts for people. I tried graphic design at George brown college and didn't love it. So one day I decided to google "how can I make $ off painting?" And tattooing popped up, I started researching, reading forums and went out and found myself an apprenticeship at a reputable shop. The first shop I tried denied me because I'm not your typical tattooer, I barely have any visible tattoos. So the second shop I tried also asked if I plan on getting anymore tattoos, this time I lied, said yes and got the apprenticeship. Busted ass and cried throughout most of it for a year and now here I am 2 years later as happy as I can be, so in love with my job. Got married and had a son 9 months ago. I reached all my goals by 30 just like I always hoped I would :)
