  1. Brain tumor follow-up yesterday. The net is that it’s bigger which could either mean the radiation is working (yea) or that it’s still growing (boo). I’m doing the PMA thing and going with the radiation is working. The concern is around my facial nerve and balance issues. I’m already walking like a drunk sometimes but the facial paralysis shit freaks me out. The funny part of today went like this: Dr. Neurosurgeon: How’s your hearing in your left ear? Me: It’s shot. Dr. Neurosurgeon: How’s your balance? Me: F*cked. Dr. Neurosurgeon smiles at me, looks at my leg and says: Is that a ray gun tattoo? Me: Yes, Dr. it is indeed a ray gun to commemorate my radiation. Dr. Neurosurgeon: That is the most brilliant thing I’ve ever seen. (Note: the barrel isn't crooked...straight lines on curvy body parts, ya know) Grez at Pagoda
  2. God, that's so amazing! @suburbanxcore I was having more fun watching you get tattooed than you were having. LOL.
  3. @Boiled Dove - Love that poster! Looks like a cool event! @AtomicMagpye The photo of you looking at the ocean is super rad.
  4. My two cents...I can certainly empathize with not getting exactly what you wanted. That being said, it appears from your photos that you are not a tattoo rookie. Don't overthink why they pulled the video down. It's certainly a very good tattoo. Breathe. Get out of yer head. Give it time. 🙂
  5. I keep reading this thread because I don't know if this is real or not. A blackout penis? Me, I find nothing attractive about that idea at all. I don't see how anything good could ever come out of this idea.
  6. You got two AMAZING pieces! @Kevinb52 The Baku with the Oni really is one of the coolest tattoos that I've seen. It's funny that we were both in with the same guys on the same day (great minds). This weekend was: Grez - ray gun (the entire neurosurgery team today lost their collective sh1T when they saw it today) Dan - kappa Stewart - hannya Nick Colella - Chicago gorilla (great story on that one) Hendricks - panther head and rose I'll say it again...I LOVE Pagoda. When I was walking out, I was thinking that I was able to get tattooed by artists from three countries, as well as three different regions of the US all while in Wyomissing, PA. Makes me a little giddy.
  7. It's fine. Take a breath. Like everyone here has said, if you are looking for perfection then tattoos are not for you. Oh, and laser absolutely sucks. It's expensive and it could take multiple treatment over the course of a year to fade it. It's a cute first tattoo!
  8. I'm going with not a good idea. The pain level would be extreme and yeah, after years it's most likely be way faded. Do you have other tattoos?
  9. I thought they did a great job at giving some insight on their history with the family. So interesting... @Oiocha Oh, and I think that I saw your backpiece drawing?
  10. So excited for you! The same thing happened to me with Grez at the 2015 Pagoda show. Squee!
  11. Thanks for sharing, @jnin. I loving hearing these stories about the incredible kindness that people can how. It's a good way to start my Sunday. Your MRSA battle on the other hand...OMG. How terrifying. Glad that you are able to get it under control.
  12. @eamesian Hey - by this point, you should have it off and letting it heal. Keep it clean, and lay off the AD. Lightly moisturize with a fragrance free lotion ONLY a couple of times a day.
  13. Ah, Mr. Sinnes…. In my head I was only getting as far as Higgs. LOL. That is outstanding! @Bearcat78
  14. I ordered one of the prints. This year, I have purchased a bunch of originals from Ed Hardy, Horitomo and Nick Bubash. Need to stop buying art. LOL.
  15. All three of us will be stalking him. LOL. He said the same thing to me that he will make space for everyone.
