  1. Did you decide on an artist? Also, what other tattoos do you have?
  2. Hi! Do you have any tattoos? Let's see 'em!
  3. @missyblue Great news on the remission! In the end, as long as you love what you have it doesn't matter, right? Same goes for whatever you want to call it... I think that your design would be been 'stronger' if the black line were bolder. But again, I wouldn't sweat it too much. You EARNED it.
  4. Riot Fest is always a good time. They know how to organize everything which makes all the difference in the world. @suburbanxcore
  5. What @PrivateAle said...not the end of the world. Breathe!
  6. Um, we absolutely like the word 'tattoo'. @JazzyMac Because that's what they are!
  7. Again, welcome. Watercolor is hard to pull off...maybe at some point consider filling in the dog paws with solid black for some contrast. I'd live with it for a bit before doing anything. Do you have aplastic anemia? I do a lot of work with a blood cancer charity that promotes education on blood cancers/diseases and gets people on the National Bone Marrow Registry. :)
  8. Welcome. Post some photos. We love tattoos.
  9. Nice Metallica shirt. Welcome!
  10. Hey there, Welcome! Do you have any tattoos? Let's see 'em. :)
  11. Yep, we're always there. Funny enough, that's how I discovered the organization!! I normally do Punk Rock Bowling in Vegas as my big festival with LHS but I want to do RF this year. :) @Boiled Dove
  12. Because this thread needs to be bumped. If thy hate thy first tattoo, thou shall not freak out. Thou shall wait at least three months before making any decisions on cover-ups, laser or additional tattoos.
  13. Hey @Hogrider Good question - I'll ask her. I pinged her on Sunday to see how the steroid cream was working. She said that her red ink was less flaky but still itchy. A nurse friend of ours commented that steroid type creams would be the course of treatment for eczema and she felt like it was worth a shot. I'll mention the Vitamin E! Thanks!
  14. I'll send you my number in case you end up coming down. @Devious6
  15. Hey there...can we see a photo from further away? To echo what has been said, before doing anything you need to figure out what you want, then talk to an artist about what can be done. I'm with @Devious6...it doesn't look horrible!
  16. NICE! I will be there with my charity, Love Hope Strength. We're a rock and roll cancer organization that primarily goes on tour with bands (lots of punk...think a lot folks on Fat Wreck, Flogging, Dropkick, Social D, Bosstones, Frank Turner, etc.) and at most festivals. We educate fans on blood cancers and get people registered on the National Bone Marrow Registry! Stop by my table...I'll be there all weekend! If I'm not getting tattooed, I should be at the table. :) @Boiled Dove
  17. I love seeing settled in and healed tattoos. I appreciate the warmth of a good, lived-in tattoo. Is that a rooster in the corner? That looks pretty awesome, too. Great idea for a thread! @el twe
  18. Make sure to follow your aftercare! Keep it clean, clean, clean and lightly moisturized. Tattoos take a month or two to settle in. If by this time next week you are still sore, give your artist a call.
  19. Good on you @BeHappy! You sound like you are starting to plan your next one. :) @MonkeyKetchup You need to give yourself time to adjust. Give yourself at least three months before you do make any decisions. Laser removal sucks, takes time (I'm on my 7th treatment over the last year) , hurts and is expensive. I like to say that tattoos are like marriages. They are a lot easier to get into than get out of. Happy healing and welcome.
  20. Hey Vannessa....I doubt it. There may be snippets on IG but it won't be streaming. @Vannessa
  21. I'd LOVE to see your country! It just has to be in the summer, not the winter. Reach out to him, see what he says. Are you close to his shop to do a consult? A good consult would go a long way to answering your questions. He's super good.
  22. I want Marius to do something for me. He's not traveling right now but has invited me over to Norway. :) Ha! Like he needs to enable my tattoo and travel habits.
  23. Not exactly...just looks puffy and itchy. I think if it would stop itching then she'd be in a better place. She's pretty heavily tattooed so she's not over-reacting. She loves the tattoo. Hell, I'd want the freaking itch to go away, too! Good call on finding out that brand of red ink. Thanks! @lape
  24. A friend of mine has a four month old tattoo with red ink that's still not healed. It's flaky and she says that it feels like scar tissue. She has a ton of great tattoos and her artists are top shelf. She's spoken to the artist who didn't give her any real recommendations. Her doctor has given her antihistamines, Benadryl and now a steroid cream. Anything else that I cam recommend to her? I told her to look for another doctor, maybe one with tattoos. She's in Australia.
