    So, tattoos hurt. Some more than others and the pain experience varies from person to person on the same spot. @Donelly1991 I've had my wrist tattooed twice and didn't even feel it. Other people say that the wrist really hurts. You won't know until you do it!

    I have one more to go in 2017 then I am moving into semi-retirement for 2018. Way, way too much happening in my life to be able to plan anything (or afford it) in 2018. I'll be living vicariously through everyone else's work. @el twe

    Hey there...when did you get the tattoo? It obviously took more than one sitting, right? Did you have doubts all along? I think it's a great tattoo.

    I tipped (again) my artist from Denmark last week just like I'd tip any other artist. Hell, he worked on me all day and I have something so incredibly beautiful. Why wouldn't I? It was also during the same session that one of the other shop artists left the shop and came back with sweet treats from a killer bakery for me. Oh, and then I was able to get in with someone on the spur of the moment for the next day... I love my artists and their crews.

    @Ciel Yep. It's happened to me a few times. Mine was red and bumpy but went away in a day or so.
