  1. I overlap by 1/2'"-3/4" all the time. Keep an eye on it and happy healing!
  2. What did you decide to do? Re-wrap or let it go?
  3. Welcome! Tell us about your tattoos. Whatcha got or planning to get?
  4. Ugh, if the tegaderm won't hold maybe just do the dry heal thing? Where is the tattoo located? I'm a tegaderm person, so I understand what you are going through! The last batch of tegaderm that I used must have been old because I had problems with it sticking on a few tattoos. I dry healed a few without issue. :)
  5. I'd just take it off...when did you get the new tattoo?
  6. In that case, work it out with your artist. Do whatever you want.
  7. Just remember that less is more when it comes to lotion! Don't overdue it but keep your new tattoo lightly moisturized. It's still a fresh wound. :)
  8. You can do whatever you want! Are you working with one artist or multiple people?
  9. I know that I am late to posting to your thread but welcome! Did you ever get your lilac sorted? I thought it was fine (re: not phallic) but for me, and my style, I thought it needed black to make it pop. I worry that water color style tattoos won't age well due to the lack of lining. That being said, as long as you love it that is all that matters!
  10. Echoing what has already been said...let it heal up! Welcome to the forum.
  11. Hey and Welcome! I am not a tattooer but live in PA. :)
  12. If you don't have time for NLJB since the interviews are longish, a new podcast called Tit for Tat Chat is available. It's hosted by Betty Rose and Zoe Bean....completely different vibe but I've enjoyed their episodes so far. Last week, they interviewed Michael McCabe.
  13. I agree with @Dan 99%..I do ask for a ballpark on time since I have to travel for my tattoos. I need to have an idea of what kind of time we think it's going to take. I also ask the hourly rate (way in advance) so I can bring a pile of cash. :)
  14. It's always a good time! Super low key, easy in/out, and not crazy like the big conventions.
  15. So, Garver only books a few months in advance, just saying. :) Mike is a little longer but see if you can get in at Pagoda convention in August which is SO MUCH CHEAPER than NYC! O'Donnell only books a few months in advance, too!
  16. You will be fine. :) Settle in for the long haul. @FreddieW Keep us posted!
  17. So many great choices depending upon what style and how bold you would like to go! Agree with @ScottyG 's recommendation. :) My NYC laundry list: RG, Garver, Rubendall, Kiku, Beckerich and O'Donnell. My international list is long but I really want a flower from Claudia this year...
  18. Yeah, I just don't know anyone in Baltimore but there are a few folks in NYC that do lovely Japanese peonies and chrysanthemums.
