  1. Good luck. The community here has a lot of experience (Dan, SStu and Hogrider). If you don't want to take advice from people who have a lot of experience, go forth. I think that you are very likely to end up with a mess. Your skin, your body, your choice. I've been down the laser path for a bad tattoo and glad that I did. I was able to get it lighten enough for a great tattoo.

    Hey !

Or you can bring it up here. Who would you like to get tattooed by?
  3. I am not. The only convention that I am going to this year is Pagoda in August! http://www.pagodacitytattoofest.com/

    Hey !

Welcome! Your English is just fine. Post your tattoo photos when your post count is high enough. Cheers!
  5. I'd love to be able to do go as well but the timing hasn't worked out for me either. @AverageJer
  6. I like your negative space. :) @Jkeith
  7. @Mym The first thing that I would checkout is the Great Lakes Walkup event at Great Lakes Tattoo in Chicago. Here's their website link: http://greatlakestattoo.com Check their Instagram, too!
  8. Thanks! Me, too. Next MRI is in June, we'll should see the tumor reacting. Interestingly, I hope to see it BIGGER which means the radiation is working! @pidjones
  9. Looks great @Jkeith Happy healing!
  10. Oh, and by the way I'm sorry that you have to go through this. @ANM101ajm
  11. @ANM101ajm Yikes. Let it heal then hit it with laser. THEN, do your research. Don't rush into anything.
  12. My awesome news is that I had my radiation and it didn't jack me up. I'll take it! My nurse had two full sleeves, so the universe picked out the perfect person to take care of me.
  13. That is so cool. I would love to see a launch of *something* (private or govt) in my lifetime. Enjoy! Post an update when you can!
  14. What is the backstory on this photo? @pidjones
  15. @AtomicMagpye Ha! That's a tender spot for sure but it's done and you never have to do it again. Unless of course, you do the other side.... I distinctly remember getting my right ribs done. It was only a four hour session and thankfully we finished. I remember calling my husband immediately after to tell him to slap me if I ever decide to do my left ribs. Within a month, I was planning my left ribs...*face palm.* (Note: he didn't slap me but he did remind me of the phone call!)
  16. Release the Kraken! So rad. Happy healing. @AtomicMagpye
  17. The core team of Justin Weatherholtz, Paul Dobleman, Brian Thurow and Frankie Caracollioli are hitting the road 3/14 - 4/15 from Texas to points out west. 11 shops, other artists tagging in along the way. Who is getting in on this? I am jealous in advance!
  18. Thanks for sharing. I love that he shared his vulnerability and personal struggle to "surrender". So good.
  19. Hey, I don't have any recommendations but this sounds like an amazing trip! Wow!! Looking forward to seeing your posts on your adventures. Cheers!
  20. You will be okay. Tender maybe but okay. Keep it all nice and clean!
  21. I would research another artist...where do you live? The community may know of someone in your area.
  22. Hey there. Is this your first tattoo? Did the artist draw it on or was it s stencil? Did you provide a reference? A little context would be helpful. Do.not.panic. Tattoos by nature are applied by humans thus subject to imperfection which is why you can look at your tattoos under a microscope. Things can almost always be fixed but you need to breathe and relax...
  23. Ha! I cut up and piece together my tegaderm to fit the contour of whatever body part that I'm trying to cover. I put it together like snake scales so it moves and stays put. Good luck!
