  1. Tomorrow I leave for what has taken about 2.5 years to pull off. Tattoo gods willing, Dobleman and Tomo next week! I am hoping to swing by Idle Hand tomorrow afternoon to support SNAFIT event. As luck would have it, there is also the Haight Street Fair happening. Silly excited. I feel like a kid at Christmas!
  2. @suburbanxcore Well, not much at this point but I have a few feelers out. I held off scheduling anything since my world has been chaos. I talked to Grez, so hopefully he's saving me a spot...I want a ray gun to commemorate by radiation journey. 🙂
  3. Hope to see the both of you at Pagoda! @suburbanxcore @Boiled Dove

    Hello

Definitely putting the cart before the horse! If you are in good health, choose a good artist and follow the aftercare, 99.9% of the time you don't have anything to worry about. Do you have any tattoos? Why are you worried about this? Most people worry about the pain or some sort of regret about getting a tattoo, not whether it's going to heal right. ? @Kai Lo
  5. Oh, my. I would be asking questions, too. While it is too soon to tell the final outcome, I don't think it will ever look like the photo from day one (just my opinion and I could be wrong).
  6. One day, one step, one breath at a time. First, everyone has something...not to minimize your situation but rather to say that you are not alone. Get the breakouts under control then go forth! Another idea is look for a shop that has private rooms instead of a big open floor. Also, most shops have privacy screens. For me, I have really bad cellulite. It's really embarrassing for me anytime I get my lower body worked on. Tell my that I wasn't mortified when an artist tagged me in a photo on IG that showed all of my cellulite and saggy butt for the world to see. I know that the world judges...however, there isn't a damn thing that I can do about my aging body. This is the real world, screw the photoshop version of the world!
  7. Well, you need to find the person/people that you are considering, contact them and possibly have consultations. Are you on any medications? What does your doctor say? It may make sense to see if you can wait until your acne resolves before starting on your back. I don't know how old you are or if you have other tattoos but maybe do your arms, legs or chest instead?
  8. Find someone that knows your condition, agrees to work with you and set your plan. You are not alone in having bad acne. It comes down to finding an artist that understands the scarring and can apply a great tattoo for you!!
  9. @Antony hippie Hey...questions: 1) When did you get the tattoo? 2) Where is it located? 3) What have you been doing for aftercare? 4) Is the tattoo warm, red or oozing pus?
  10. Hey there...so, not a doctor but I would absolutely wait if you can. Your age, treatment, and general health play into healing factors as well. As your doctor and artist. How old is the scar, btw?
  11. Oh good heavens, @Makmak. You made the right call by getting to the doctor. Have you spoken to the artist? Does it still feel warm or is it just red? Any oozing? Has it peeled?
  12. I am such a KA fan girl. LOL. Love these so much.
  13. Hey @purplelace, it's healing. The scab is gone but there's a 1/2" section that's still raised and settling in. I bet it will be another two weeks before that area is completely healed. Thankfully, I work mostly from home so I can wear shorts and keep my leg elevated. :) Thank you for asking!
  14. It's not much news but one month from today, I leave for my west coast tattoo bender. The countdown is on!
  15. Hey @oboogie, what's not healed? I jacked mine up by wearing jeans on day four, so I have a nice crusty scab on the outside hinge that just won't heal. I am sure that it will but F.
  16. I think it looks great! Breathe and let it become part of you. :)
  17. Ha! The back of my thighs weren't too bad, really but this back of the knee thing. Oy vey! @purplelace
  18. Um, yeah...back of the knee healing is kinda hateful. Just thought I'd b1tch about it hear.
