I'll be in New Orleans. The river will be green, should be a fun weekend ? -

Well, it is lined. There was a lot of drawing around it that will go back up next time. PS my photo is 666kb ? -
I don't like having people at my appointments. It does something to the vibe with the artist. My son is more fun than my spouse though ?
-
My ex has a tribal sun on his calf - it was his first tattoo in 1996. ?
-
I think it is too much for a very small tattoo. I understand set up and overhead, but! Can you combine tattoos 2 and 3 righr now? Two small ones for the shop minimum?
-
Leave your brother's alone. The memory is more important than the tattoo.

That part of the body is rarely symmetrical, and it will change as you age, gain and lose weight, and possibly have kids. Don't sweat it!
-
Some weeds from the roadsides of America, they always make me giddy when I see a big bunch growing in a ditch. I don't think my artist was stoked to do more damn flowers.
-
Just the logo would make a fine linework tattoo. Be very careful with realistic wolves - serious bad tattoo material, even with competent artists. Please listen to your artist, simpler and bigger are almost always the right choice.

Well, I've done it - just had a consult to start this piece. I'm super nervous about this one. As you know I've wanted it for a while, and this is my first time to an all appointment salon type shop, new artist, etc. Very excited! -
Do you like it? That's all that matters.
-
Ugh. So many! Speakeasy, Deluxe, Brown Bros., Revolution, Taylor Street, Timeless. I love Chicago ❤

If you want the dot work like your example, the second artist seems to have much more shown on Facebook.
-
Totally. I don't have it after every one, but I do still get it. I'm currently nervous about my appointment coming up on Monday. I've wanted this tattoo for a few years, and now I'm nervous about it.
-
Do you want this same style, or Japanese, or illustrative?

I'm a third through a rib, belly and hip tattoo. Extreme pain.
Tornado7 replied to Zookeeper's topic in Initiation
Change your attitude. Meditate or whatever you do first to get your mindset different. If you go in thinking extreme pain, you'll feel it. Relax as much as you can. Clenching, balling up, and curling your toes are bad. Concentrate on letting go - I relax my feet very intentionally with my breathing. -
I use a new, clean razor the first time, just in case. I would not shave if anything still hurt, or if there are any scabs, raised areas, or big peeling left to do that the razor is going to scrape off. Different parts of my legs, and different artists have all led to slightly different timelines.

I have a spot on my shoulder that gets puffy in the sun. (It is black outline.) I have just gotten my first chunk of bright red fill, and it seems less dense than other colors in the same tattoo. I think it might be my first touch up, but I'll wait a while to see how it settles.

It is probably not going to affect your career. I work in the brokerage industry, and it is not an issue. I just have to wear pants suits or opaque hose. In general, my colleagues are interested in my tattoos.

Stupid story / missed connection - and I would up with this horseshoe. So unplanned. Healing two at once now. ? John Schaberg @ Tower Classic Tattoo

Here is a composite of the four. The heart is a bloom Dreamed I saw a desert rose dress torn in ribbons and in bows Iris Like a fish needs a - well unicycle ? U2 borrowed the quote, but it's a super tattoo.

I have four lyrics tattoos, but none of them contain words. That's too literal... I'm working on filling my left arm with U2 songs. I have more ideas than arm though. I may add one word over my shoulder, 'love' in Bono's handwriting.
