Found this video this morning- madness! -
Ok, so how about an animal that represents your grandma/ family better? I think horse tattoos are awesome, but I've never been on one in my life. That being said, I've never ridden a dragon, either (literally anyway; figuratively, sure ), but I have one. I want a jaguar thigh panel ( @Jennifer Stell- hoping ya'll are in town in the Fall:)) and we just decided to go to Belize for our honeymoon where they have a jaguar sanctuary and the Temple of the Jaguar at Tikal. Long story short, do what makes sense to you- it made sense to the people rockin' panthers.

I didn't see any butterflies, so I thought I'd show you these: Less traditional set of butterflies on board I did awhile back: Rose set:

Find an Al-Anon meeting-definitely worth checking out. I'd also make her staying in your house conditional on her attending a twelve step program. Your house, your limits and boundaries. What your daughter is going through sucks, but you have to do what's healthy and sane for yourself and the rest of the people in the house. If she can't do that, tell her she's going to have to figure something else out. As someone with experience in the area, sometimes the only way to find your bottom is when it's sitting on a curb next to all your worldly possessions.

Fat people with tattoos: Your thoughts
Kev replied to Delicious's topic in General Tattoo Discussion
Getting bigger tattoos is great advice; I don't know how many big guys I see at the gym with these tiny tribal bands or whatever that just look silly. The only thing I would consider is whether you plan on staying your current size or if you plan on losing. If you plan on losing, I'd wait to tattoo areas that could see lots of stretch marks like belly/lower back/thighs until after you reach a target size. Either way, we're built to fall apart ;) -

So I had to go back a bit to find the first time you mentioned this (a month ago), so we're looking at healed pics. I agree, blowout-happens in places where there's thin skin and the ink hits capillaries. Pretty sure when the color goes in, it'll minimize that. And it should fade some. Do you have a pic of the whole thing?

Argh- did maxes yesterday to come up with a base for our new strength building, gone down in most of lifts (back to November 2011 numbers). Hopefully, it'll come back on this new cycle =/ Diet-wise, I'm adding in a carb hour per week regularly and glucose/dextrose post-workout with my protein/creatine. -

No, I wouldn't say so; not anymore than a pin-up girl with calavera makeup. You can tell people it represents whatever you want, but like mikevaladez said, without the owl, hourglass, and earth, it's just a grim reaper. Do some research- Santa Muerte is just a Catholicized version of Mictecacihuatl, the Aztec goddess of the dead that later inspired La Catrina. Here's a video with some images in it: from the song: Mafiosos y de la ley se la empiezan a tatuar politicos y altos jefes tambien le tienen su altar yo le prendo sus velitas no es un delito rezar. Gangsters and the law have the tattoo politicians and senior managers also have her altar I light her candles, it is not a crime to pray.

Condolences on your loss, man.

As a fellow motorcyclist and artist, I'm glad he made it out with his life and his HANDS. Breaking your legs sucks, but injuring your hands or arms as someone that makes his living with his hands could ruin you for life. Hope he has a speedy recovery!

This one is nice: Personally, I like the multi-color version (Santa Muerte of the Seven Powers) or else it just looks like a Grim Reaper:
