  2. I started working on my ass yesterday! Tattoo I mean. I’m working on a body suit and that pasty white ass was really bugging me so I decided to get that tattooed too. I told my artist he could do whatever he wanted, which has always worked out well. My wife said, “ You told him he could do whatever he wanted with your ass?” It’s not as creepy as it sounds.🤔 it didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. A little tender around the crack, but not unbearable. He did the outline yesterday, we’re going to color in two sessions, depending on how well I sit.

    Hello everyone!

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objective, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

  16. A girlfriend of mine git both knees done at once and hated life for it. I am FULLY expecting that experience 😆 but I'll lie to myself and say it will be easy And I agree on elbow ditch being easy. Haven't done knee ditches yet Added a beautiful lady head to the left ankle. Spicy going , would do shins again over this spot again lol.

  17. How come every post you make is a self serving advertisement? This is a forum for tattoo enthusiasts, not a yard sale site.

  18. No issue with knees? Good luck. Both of my knees are done. The left one got so swollen that i couldn't bend my leg. The black and grey on my right healed better, but it still hurt a lot. Knee and elbow ditches? Piece of piss.

Saturday gone I went in to get current webs touched up and extend webs into the cleavage. My appointment was pushed back an hr so we ran out time to fix the cleavage webs. It just wasn't working with my anatomy, so we're going to come back to those another time. Managed to get a couple lines thickened on existing webs and a little cherry banger on my left calf (will match with skull cherries on right) , just after closing time.

    Need help

Hi, welcome to the forum. Please note this bullet item in the 'forum rules' https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/rules/ Do not start threads asking about specific tattooing equipment or techniques, LST is not here to teach anyone how to tattoo. Ask your own tattooer, the next time you are getting tattooed. Maybe they'll answer you, maybe they won't. cheers

  31. The only "amazing" thing I've been doing lately is job hunting. Honestly, it’s stressful. I’m always worried about having enough money for basic expenses and stuff each month. There are lots of jobs on Layboard https://layboard.in/vacancies/jobs-in-uae/jobs-in-dubai/speciality/baker, where I’ve spent most of my time. I sent my CV to several companies and I’ve got decent baking skills, even without formal training. So I hope they'll give me a chance to do a test task or something to show what I can do.

  32. Well it's been a hot minute and I've had a heap of family stuff going on including a loss so had to cancel some appointments. Managed to get a couple done last weekend though. Bat, cicada , and angry cloud. A first for me- I almost fell asleep. I think purely due to the fact this was the first time I'd stopped since all of the things decided to happen. I'll get around to that elbow in the coming month I hope.

    Black vs colour!

why do you say that color tattoos are not as durable ? if a tattoo is applied properly it doesn't matter if it's black & gray or color, it all lasts the same. I have color tattoos that are brighter and more vibrant than some of my B&G pieces ,and that's after years of healing on all.

    Black vs colour!

Couldn't agree more with you, bud! Color tattoos are waaay better-lookin. There's just smth about their vibrancy. Black ink has its charm, not gonna lie, but color brings tattoos to life in a whole new way. I guess people who don't enjoy color tattoos simply don't have a good reference. I'll drop the gallery full of color masterpieces in here. Look, aint they sick? https://ink-match.com/gallery/all/all/all/all/colored/all/

  35. just keep it clean with anti-bacterial soap and keep the lotion on it a few times a day, it will heal. you could also try a light coat of https://www.walmart.com/ip/Palmer-s-Cocoa-Butter-Original-Solid-Formula-7-25-oz/602195518?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1150

  36. It's just waves and windbars and cherry blossoms. We talked about a bunch of ideas, but there really isn't a whole lot of space and we have so much going on it would probably have been too busy with more images. My back piece is my avatar, I have a tiger and a meditating samurai and koi on one leg and a female samurai riding a tiger along with a snake and skull on the other leg so I was OK with keeping it simple.

    Friday the 13th tattoo

I’d skip the “deep, meaningful that represents blah, blah, blah” part. Just pick a cool image that you both like. Dragon, tiger, panther, ying/yang, skull, etc.

    What should I do?

Don’t mess with a good tattoo. Whoever told you that you could “remove” parts of a tattoo was being extremely optimistic. You have a better chance of ruining it than improving it. Leave dates of birth and script to the tourists.

  40. Holy shit, that’s rough. As bad as it is though, all of my friends who were blindsided (myself included), were much happier after the dust settled and we had the distance to reflect back on what we’d been through.

    Tattoo anxiety

"I'm very fit and complimented all the time how tone my arms are" So if you were fat and out of shape it would be OK? 🤣 Tattoo Anxiety is not unusual, but it really depends on how long it goes on for. Has it been weeks, months, years? You really don't have a lot of options. Despite what laser removal centers would have you believe, you'll never get totally rid of it. Any cover up will need to be even bigger and bolder, don't let any "artist" tell you differently. Given the tone of your post, "I'm very fit and complimented all the time how tone my arms are," "My artist is extremely talented, there is not 1 shaky line, crooked line," "The line work is out of this workd, perfectly straight," "Everyone loves it" it sounds like the reality of the tattoo doesn't meet your expectations.

  46. I don't think anyone mentioned this yet... but when you move, the tattoo moves with you, so when you have your arms pulled forward unnaturally like that to look at it you're also pulling the tattoo... the only way to look at a tattoo on the ribs without warping it is to lift your arm 90 degrees to the side and not stretch... when you lift your arm to the front it will always stretch the tattoo... that is the nature of tattoos placed on heavy movement body parts, they will change in appearance as you move and stretch.

  47. I had seen tattoos in pictures and movies, and had someone explain to me what they were and how they were done (more or less), but the first time I saw a real one, I was 9 or 10. My dad (college teacher) used to work with this lady whose husband was a painter or artist of some kind. They invited us to their place for a party where he would show some of his new paintings or something, and all I remember was this guy looked weird as hell to me (in hindsight, he was the textbook definition of a middle-aged bohemian NY dude in the early 90s), and he had a fucking snake tattoed on his hand. Not real big, just like on the side/top of his hand, over his thumb and almost reaching his index finger, all line and no shading or color. He obviously noticed I was staring like an idiot and was totally cool about it too.

  48. There was a group of Bandidos that rented the house across the street from me when I was about 7, and I'm sure they had tattoos, but we were all too scared to look at them for very long. But a few houses down from them, there was a crazy guy named Joe Bailey who would do shit like wrestle alligators for fun. (No, seriously. He once called me over to check out something in his backyard, and he had a six-foot alligator--with its mouth duct-taped shut--in a makeshift chicken wire pen. "We was in the bass boat fishin'. I seen him in the water and I just jumped on him and held on!") Anyway, Joe had a classic Hot Stuff wearing a diaper and holding a pitchfork with "BORN TO RAISE HELL" above it. Zero irony, just the God's honest truth. My dad used to talk shit on Joe's tattoos: "He's workin' on a shirt." In fact, he probably only had 4 or 5 palm-sized tattoos. It's funny how perspectives differ.

  49. I grew up in a hippy ass section of Minneapolis called the West Bank, and there were a few biker bars on the south end of the neighborhood. I remember I was about 8 years old when I really noticed them and thought they were rad as shit. On another note, I remember when my son first noticed tattoos as something unnatural on the body. When he was 3, he was sitting on my lap when his eyes locked onto my arm. He grabbed my arm firmly and scanned it over with intense focus...then let out the words "cool, dad"
