It looks like a healing tattoo.

As the others have said it’s fine too get what you want but you need to tell the Tattoo artist and let them do there thing. It’s fine to make a few changes but how many times did you contact them, I’m guessing at some point it became too much. The thing is the artist knows what they are doing so what they come up with is usually better than anything we come up with ourselves, not always but the more free reign the artist has the better the tattoo ends up. I hope you do manage to get the tattoo you want.

Tattoos take 4-6 weeks to heal. Longer if they were put in roughly. You will know what they look like when they heal. Did your artist explain the healing process? If not, shame on him or her.

Wow. There was ink applied where that cross scar is now?! I've never seen that before. My guess is your skin will heal normal, but it's gonna take a while.

as far as the wearer is concerned = tattoos don't necessarily have to mean anything to the viewer.
