You can expect to see what it looks like. Tattoos take 4-8 weeks to heal. With a bad scab maybe longer. There is NO way to predict the future. Get it touched up if necessary.

Holy shit! Calm down. First, don't ever get a tattoo again, you don't have the temperament. Second, your doctor doesn't know what he's talking about. The number of documented tattoo allergies is EXTREMELY small. You got a big honking tattoo on thin, delicate skin - it's going to hurt. Three days isn't even beginning to heal; it takes 6-8 weeks to heal a tattoo. Forget all your creams and potions and after care kits and hocus pocus - you don't need ANY of that to heal a tattoo. I've healed well over 200 hours of tattoos using nothing but A&D ointment for three days and cocoa butter after. Just a little - too much is worse than none at all. Have a drink, or a toke, or a xanax and relax. Check back in 8 weeks.
