Holy potatoes Batman. That’s bloody terrible! I’d highly suggest you let the artist know also... who knows if it was picked up there or during the mending process. Either way, it’s good to inform them. I’m so sorry to that you’ve had such a rough time. I hope you heal up ASAP and you’re able to enjoy your tattoo, finally.4 points

Help ! Weird peeling on new tattoo
Marciyah D and 3 others reacted to Gingerninja for a topic
Hey there - you are using WAY TOO MUCH ointment. Clean your tattoo gently with antibacterial soap, pat GENTLY with a paper towel or let air dry then use a rice sized dab of ointment. You are smothering your tattoo! When did you get it? Is that your first tattoo? @Marciyah D4 points -
it looks cool, I like it,it does not look like a swastika to me.tell your friend to stfu3 points

Help ! Weird peeling on new tattoo

I'd suggest you'd just keep it clean and quit putting anything on it. It's called a dry heal. Looks like a good plan in your case.2 points -
A good doctor too! Had two doctors give me the incorrect medication smh, thankful for the treatment I got at the hospital. Im hoping this will be the end of it as well!2 points

YIKES. This is why it is best to go to the doctor if you have any question about such things. Glad you are on the mend.2 points

Ive been in contact with him since I first started seeing something was off! It was most likely something that I did/ didn't do because the infection looks superficial, thank god. Thank you, me too this has been an awful experience.1 point

Goodluck with your healing. The first one is always a little scary! Lol. How long ago did you have it done? I’m with the others on this, definitely stop using ointment. It needs to dry up and breathe, right now it looks like it’s suffocating. You’ll be right tho. Give it a few days without anything on it and it should dry up nicely.1 point

New tattoo regret
Queen Rocks reacted to Hollie for a topic
It’s pretty well done in my opinion. Definitely don’t see a swastika and honestly I think your “friend” probably doesn’t realise how much damage that comment has done. It definitely looks like a 4 and I never would have thought otherwise. I think it’s easy for people to criticise someone because 1. They’re jealous 2. They’re insecure or 3. They’re just an outright asshole. it’s been a year in the making, don’t let a stupid untrue comment like that, prevent you from enjoying it.1 point -
Do a search. It’s very common to initially regret a new tattoo. Do you know what a swastika looks like? I’ve never seen one that looked like that. Don’t do anything without giving it a few months. I’ve seen a lot of disasters caused by people rushing out to “fix” something. It a nice tattoo, enjoy it.1 point

New Member...and With Tattoo Regret as well

Just got back from my first session since the pandemic hit. Never had a chance to get a touch up and glad that I was finally able to! My artist, Joshua Ross, gave it another pass through (going over the outlines especially). Should settle in nicely once healed. Now on to the itching, my favorite part. And whatever anxieties I felt a few weeks back have subsided. I'm embarrassed to have freaked out over it, and I really am quite proud of the way it's come out. Btw, I was stoked to find out that my tattoo was featured in the official Queen fan club magazine this month. Anyway, thanks to everyone who took the time to read and respond in this topic. Cheers.1 point -
Infected tattoo

It still looks very wet. If you're putting anything on it not prescribed by your doctor then stop, for sure. Tattoos need air to heal.1 point -

Went to the er and they put me under observation for a night and some, ending up being ca-mrsa :(. Pumped antibiotics thru an iv and gave me oral antibiotics to take when discharged. Hoping this medication kills it! Thanks for checking up! <30 points
