    Infected tattoo

It still looks very wet. If you're putting anything on it not prescribed by your doctor then stop, for sure. Tattoos need air to heal.

+1 That thing is drowning, you need to let it dry out. At this point I wouldn't put anything on it, but the purpose of moisturizer is so it doesn't dry out. If it's shiny, you have too much. If it's not shiny, you still probably have to much.

    New to the game

I guess I'm not really a newbie anymore, but it's still fun to read & share here: I went in for #2 this week: This one's a throwback to a conversation my best friend and I had in the late 80's/early 90's: "One day when we're 18, you should get a tattoo of Hobbes, and I'll get Calvin". I guess I decided it was finally time. 🙂

    Tattoo lumpy rash

Even if it's an allergic reaction to red ink (which we can't confirm) we can't tell you if the reaction is temporary or permanent. Different ink composition very well might affect the outcome, too . . .

  7. Please don't get anymore tattoos. People with your level of anxiety should never get tattooed. Covering up a cover up is going to make it worse because you're never going to stop obsessing. Just live with it for a while. You have to.

    Tattoo lumpy rash

Not likely an infection after 7 months, but allergic reactions to red ink pigment is not uncommon. There are some old threads here that address that possibility.
