Why on earth would you wait a year? That has happened in spots here and there on both of my sleeves, but a few months is more than enough time to wait before a touchup.
hello. i am tattooist and tattoo machine builder. i am now living in new delhi, india.
just saw this site and thought i would join up and see what is happening in this forum :)
I got a simple tattoo including two straight lines. They happen to look wobbly.. Is this fixable?
Obviously I would go to another artist with a lot more experience, I just thought this was a very simple tattoo.. Would love some advice!
Indeed some ink occasionally falling out in the healing process isn't uncommon and touch-ups are easy and normal. I've never heard anyone say that it would take anywhere close to a whole year waiting time to accomplish that, tho . . .
I'd think that it would be simple to thicken those lines just enough to straighten them, but overall I don't think it's anything to worry about. Mark it up to experience and plan your next.
Huh. Hard to imagine there is 20 years of experience behind that. Were you asking him/her to do a style (watercolor?) that wasn't in their portfolio?
Just 7 weeks old? You're gonna have to wait a while before proceeding. Post up a link to your intended new artist (once determined) and we might be able to assist in the vetting process . . .
