Yep. Elbows are not easy to do, so actually in one sense your current artist is doing you a favor by not attempting to do something he/she isn't comfortable with.
Any pattern or flower would sit nicely behind that knife handle (?) and ribbon.
ya well,IMO he is full of shit, both my elbows are done,like 15 & 18 years ago,with no touch ups on either and they still look great ! and the same with both my knees ! they look just as good as any of the many other tattoos I have.

Would appreciate any help I can get. I have 12 traditional tattoos on my arm and have been trying to think of a filler tat to go on my elbow. My artist tells me he doesn’t like doing them because they usually don’t heal well and it has to be a design that will work. But when I asked him what designs will work he kind of shrugged his shoulders. What designs do you guys think would fit well here?
saniderm is a great product,I like it and use it all the time,
but it can leave bruising,redness,and rash,that's all normal and will go away.
overuse of aquafor will cause bumps too.
