I Ill share my experience as far as healing went : went the exact same way for the 4 sessions scabbing from day 2 to day 5 then a bit of peeling looks "healed" a week after, still a bit blurry, then it improves over time i washed twice a day and applied lotion after showering some color part didnt hold that good and some really healed perfectly the black traits held perfectly fine appart from 4 small lines for some reason : P Nothing a touch up cant correct i m sure I ll post a pic in 2 weeks of the whole thing Take care

I think if you are going to get a backpiece tattoo you should have a clear idea of what exactly you want...my $0.02.

It looks fine to me. You can't be sure of anything for 4 weeks. Don't sweat it.

No it wasn't and it was placed in the most visual place for me to see. 95% of my tat is covered by a short sleeve shirt. the 5% that hangs out looks neat. then there are the initials that are on the inside of my elbow in an off color right in front of my face. I a debating asking him to cover them. I don't want to offend him, but I don't even have my wife's initials on my body after 12 years. Everyone that asks I tell them where I got it, I gave it a great review online. I am just torn.

Was it on the stencil? If an artist did it to me without asking my permission first I'd raise a holy f'ing stink. That being said, if I ever get tattooed by a really top notch artist I plan to ask them to them to sign their work.

He does epic large work, and seems to be a truly great guy, too. You'll be able to find dozens of YouTube videos about his travels, his perspective and relationship with Japan and Shige .

That's not true of "most" tattoo artists. I'm sorry you had a bad experience or two, but that's not remotely true. To the OP, that is shitty and uncool. I'd be so effing pissed.
