Tattoos take 4 - 6 weeks to heal, sometimes longer.3 points

How long has it been raised? I get that occasionally and it goes away by itself. Usually heat related.1 point

I like it even better healed There really is nothing wrong with that tattoo and the placement is rather common, my girl will be getting one at that exact location1 point

Everyone has told you that it looks nice and it really does. Look thru some of the other threads, people here will tell you when they think your artist didn't do a good job. You just have to relax and stop second guessing everything. It's as realistic as a tattoo of a rose can get. Chill out and try to enjoy it.1 point

Got my first tattoo cover up

It looks great, really it does.I got my first tattoo on my chest.I went to a small shop the tattooer had great traditional tattoos so I figured he could do what I wanted.I was wrong.I hated the experience, the atmosphere, everything about getting tattooed.And....I got a very bad tattoo. It bothered the heck out of me until I learned that there were good tattooers.I booked with one and started getting great tattoos.I have a bunch now and the first one doesn't bother me at all anymore.1 point -
Eyeball tattoos are a gimmick, the risk of permanent damage to your eyesight is not worth the aesthetic IMO. Get some cheap coloured contacts if you want the hallowe'en-psycho look ... Blackout tattoos are great if you want that specific look and/or want a fresh start over some old ink. I've seen (healed) white over blackout work quite well, but I've also seen examples where the white doesn't quite pop (ie dependent on tattooists skill and how much scarring from covered tattoos below). To each their own, I am starting to enjoy abstract tattoos but the "brutal-blackout" look is a bit crude to me. Creatively I think there are more interesting ways to approach layers, blastovers and coverups...but hey express yourself however you choose. cheers1 point

I was putting ointment on it but I think I am going to take your advice and try dry healing it... I guess with dry healing it is normal to get some stiffness in the skin and that it cracks and leaks a little? I tried talking to my tattooist, he denied that it was overworked and blamed it on me. I mean I know he is the professionnal, but this is not my first tattoo and damn it hurt!1 point

Does anybody had insult your tattoos?

When it comes down to it, plenty of people are going to love your tattoos and plenty of people are going to hate your tattoos. Some hate just because they are tattoos and some hate because of personal opinion. Always remember you got the tattoo bc YOU like it that’s all that matters.1 point -
No such thing as a perfect tattoo. 😉1 point
