Too much moisturizer is just as bad as too little, if not worse. 6 days in, so what if it dries out? What do you think is going to happen? When I'm six days in I moisturize it once a day, using just a tiny bit of cocoa butter. I used to make a big production out of caring for a new tattoo. Now I do the absolute minimum and the new tattoos don't heal or look any different than the old ones.3 points

Ok, I wasn’t sure on it. And if I leave it be with the moisturizer, do I keep washing it with soap once a day like I normally do?1 point

I love Saniderm or similar - but if you can't live with it long term (4 days or so) then just live with it for the duration of your tattooing that weekend. It'll be the best way of not contaminating your fresh work while the new work is getting accomplished.1 point
