  1. IMO just leave it alone,if you F*** with it ,will only screw it up, my guess is if you don't point it out to anyone ,nobody will notice the tiny lines. it looks fine to me.

  2. Yeah, I wouldn't recommend newbies start with a full back piece. But the arms and legs aren't that bad, except for ditches and joints.

  3. I agree with everyone else that it's good the way it is. I'm not a tattoo artist, but I gotta believe covering black (I assume it's black underneath) with yellow wasn't the best plan. But that's just me.

  4. Quit listening to idiots. How exactly do they propose you fix it? You can't pull the ink back out, all you could do is make the lines thicker and you'll most likely wind up with a mess. Thin, delicate skin is prone to blow outs, that's just a fact. Stop obsessing over it.

  6. I have friends who talk about how they want their sleeves and tattoos, but don't want any part of the pain. -- I don't get that. Never have, never will. The pain is part of the tattoo process. Suck it up or embrace it. If you skip the pain, you're missing out on a major part of the tattoo experience in my opinion. The pain is temporary, the tattoo is permanent....well, i don't even know about that. Life is temporary.

I'm no bitch but at times my backpiece using tebori has been absolutely excruciating. You power through it, you find ways, but at times it does feel unbearable....

  10. Never, ever, ever get another tattoo. You are obsessing over something that isn't there. I have tattooed wrists. The skin is thin. That's how they look. Hacking it up by adding more ink is going to make it worse. LEAVE. IT. ALONE. Do not get another tattoo. Ever.

I definitely understand the exhausting thing, when I go to bed after I've been tattooed I'm out like a light, the shorter the time the less sleep I get but after my recent chest piece that took 5.5 hours I crashed for over 16 hours.

  15. THIS! Read it over and over until you get it. Monkeying with a tattoo will make it worse more often than it will make it better.

  18. Tattoos in general fade with time. Trying to do anything to it while maintaining the original design is going to make a mess of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. It won’t “fix” itself. You should fix your expectations of tattoos. Tattoos are imperfect. They are made by imperfect people on an imperfect canvas. They are not meant to be looked at through a microscope. It’s a small tattoo on a delicate piece of skin and any imperfection is going to be spotted easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. 3 weeks is too soon to tell. Also it’s on some very thin skin. Wrists tend to be more prone to slight blowouts. If it is blown out you won’t be able to “fix” it without making it worse. I would just stop obsessing over it and let it finish healing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Regards

I always think it's best to get a simple tattoo as your first and save the large/special meaning one for later. Take it slow, learn the ropes and make sure you know about the process before jumping into a big one. Just my 2 cents.

I want to feel ALL of that tattoo. The best. The worst. The excitement. The vulnerability. The fear. The anxiety. The confidence. The strength. The power. I have found a lot of peace and healing through the pain. Some people don't get that and can't. Some of you will no exactly what I'm talking about. Embrace that shit.

I agree, I put off getting my first tattoo because of my fear of injections and blood draws. They are completely different. A tattoo, to me, is more of a scratching sensation, where an injection is a sharp poke. Tell the truth, I think getting tattooed has helped minimize my fear of the medical jazz. Your mind set is also different. You want the tattoo and are looking forward to it, whereas the shots and draws not so much. Two other factors. I've found there is difference in artists, some are definitely more heavy handed than others. Also it amazes me how much of a difference there is within just a few inches. The outside of the bicep, directly below the shoulder only feels like a vibration. But move around to the underarm... yikes! Feels like they're pealing the skin right off.

    Enjoying Tattoos ?

Hi, it is therapy in a way for me, getting tattooed is such an intimate experience, the entire process from consultation to mentally preparing and physically preparing the day before and the day of,eating good,pre-hydrating,good sleep the night before, mentally over coming the pain,to the after healing, etc, etc. is a process I enjoy.
