    Faded Red Ink

I would have waited longer than a month to do a coverup. Every time you tattoo the skin you are causing trauma. I would give it time to completely heal before you do anything else. If you have this touched up it will be the third time tattooing over the same piece of skin. The color is unlikely to get darker, but wait a minimum of 4-6 weeks to see what it will look like.

  3. No, I wouldn't worry. Nothing you can do about it now anyway.

    Long term aftercare

I never wear sunscreen. I keep my tattoos covered. :-) Treat a fully healed tattoo just like any other skin. The sun is a tattoos worst enemy - just like every other piece of skin.

  5. I'd find a tattoo artist who specializes in Japanese style and ask them. Try to get a unified theme going.

  6. An article written by a reporter taking information from the company who makes the machine. No independent reporting, no fact checking. This is the kind of lazy, sloppy, excuse-for-journalism that is the standard these days. I wouldn't believe a word in that article. As far as FDA approval, all they are approving is that the device doesn't kill you. And I'm sure you can buy FDA approval pretty cheap.

  8. Ok...here’s a few crappy bathroom mirror pics. Lol The Led Zep Swan song tat was from when I was about 25. He said he can incorporate it into this current tattoo. It will be interesting to see how he does it.

  10. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I just got my second tattoo and it’s also on my arm and I’m feeling exactly the same way. I’m trying to just accept it (it’s only been 5 days with it) but I have this dreaded feeling that I messed up. I know it’s not based on reality though. Here is mine:

  11. Just had a short session. The majority of the line work is done. We decided to fill in the inner bicep with an Oni mask at a later date. Pics to come in a couple of days....I’m a bloody mess right now. Lol

  12. It is probably not going to affect your career. I work in the brokerage industry, and it is not an issue. I just have to wear pants suits or opaque hose. In general, my colleagues are interested in my tattoos.

  13. I find that keeping my eyes open helps. When I close my eyes, I sink into my head. I'm a big fan of counting....I'll count anything and everything that I see. I'll also make myself identify every color that I see. I'm normally very fidgety, so staying still is uber hard for me pain or not.
