I've never heard of ink "spreading", so that shouldn't be a concern. It does look to me like it will need a repair session - but I don't have any practical experience with the hows and expectations of photorealism style fixes.2 points

No, I got your point. You're not getting mine - the general public doesn't know crap tattoos from great tattoos. I doubt 1 in 100 people would notice what you're talking about.1 point

If the first artist says anything about it, reply, "screw you". Your money, spend it how and where you like. If the first is the shop owner or co-owner he's getting a cut anyway. I have a lot of respect for artists, but they're not the end all, be all.1 point
