    Mixing styles?

I don't think there is anything wrong with getting one artist to do full cohesive and integrated pieces. Those tattoos are quite spectacular. I think though when you mix up styles, work with different tattooers you get a different experience and new perspectives. The tattoos become very collaborative between the receiver and the maker. You get to keep going on the neverending journey. You may make some mistakes, you may make great decisions, but the mash up of style and experience makes for very very interesting and real tattoo collections with many life lessons and realizations woven into your skin. You become a living quilt or "colouring book" as i say. At least that's what I'm going for.

  3. Yeah, like @Gingerninja I put tagaderm on the next morning after unwrapping the cellophane, bacterial soap cleaning and drying. That eliminates the ooze pooling and provides the opportunity for it to stay on for 3-4 days. That being said, the 1st time I used it it went on 20 minutes after the tattoo was finished and that ooze pool stayed there for the duration. No problems experienced.

  4. I'd contact the artist or a doc for an opinion but if it's not hot or spreading, my thought it's not an infection. Depending upon how you heal, it may take a few months to resolve completely. Bummer...I am sorry. I use tegaderm on 99% of my work and have never had an issue. Have you read the tegaderm/saniderm thread on this forum? I don't put my tegaderm on until the next day.

    Bumps on black ink

This just looks like a skin reaction, check with a dermatologist or your PCP to be sure. If you have any doubt, just go to the doctor ❤️
