FWIW, I think the design has too much detail to count as "minimalist".
But don't worry that the stars don't look the same, there are many different types of stars!

You can't fix blowouts. As @Gingerninja said, tattoos are not perfect. You skin isn't a piece of paper where you can go back and erase and start over, regardless of what people that do laser remove would like you to believe. It's a nice tattoo, enjoy it.
Why don't you talk to a good artist about what you want? This isn't going to look great as-is in any color. Just let them draw something up for you. They know what will work better than you do.
Hey, overall nice tattoo. There could be a few little issues but in my humble opinion, no one will notice except you. Talk to the artist to get their input. Sadly, blowout happens for a variety of reasons including skin type. I think it looks okay but tattoos are not perfect. 🙂
