Long time lurker of the forum, but i figured i'd better start posting haha. I'll be at Pagoda! It will be my first time there since moving to the east coast from the Bay Area 2 years ago! Hoping to get tattooed by Dansin, Tim Hendricks and also grab another piece from Shaun Topper! Wish i could have gotten in with grez, i have a few cool spots saved for him.

Getting a ray gun from Grez to celebrate my radiation journey! I expressed my desire for him to channel his inner Higgs, if he felt it. Last year, the Spider Murhpys booth was next to Dan. Dan's banner had all these Russian-type porn photo's all over it. I stared at it for two days. If he can do a Kappa for me, I'll be over the moon!

Just getting back on with Tapatalk fixed. I LOVE Kewpie dolls! My grandfather had one from Naval service in one of the World Wars (he served in both). I got mine last year to celebrate retirement.

FINALLY have the Hunley fairly complete, and took her to her first public appearance at the Moonshiner's Run Car Show in Stearns, Kentucky last Saturday.

As opposed to trying to reason with you I will say this..... GO FOR IT. DO IT!!!! JUST DONT F***ing TATTOO ANYONE EXCEPT YOURSELF. If you wanna be another rat jumping on this already F***ing half sank ship, your doom is your call..... This ship never had any benefits, insurance, or savings.... No lifeboats either... There is a TRADITIONAL methodology to becoming invested into the craft, if you don't want to at least try to go that route, and you have already made your mind up as to what "you want"..... Why are you even here? At least take an online Blood Borne Pathogens Class, to keep from getting yourself, or your family sick.... And know, when the rando person at the store comes up to you and asks that question, "you do a lot of your own tattoos?", you can respond.... Yes, and know- to the rest of us, we know it's a big joke and a waste of your own good skin to try to learn on your own body.... Yes, I am a *** and a total asshole. I'm married to a big dick, also a tattooer... Good luck regardless...

thanks ! both my lower arms are mostly from the 80's & 90's, my upper arms/shoulders are newer, my right arm is still bright,I think the lighting and mix of styles make it look different, both arms were done in the same time frames alternating back and forth.

I know I am. Maybe there is a forum out there for scratchers where you can discuss designs that look cool but don't work on skin, infections, blow-outs, scar-tissue, vomit-enducing work, and a host of other issues endemic to kitchen magicians. My advice is just don't. If you are really an engineer, you should be able to afford quality tattoos from qualified artists. That's what this forum is about, not "how to tattoo yourself with your eBay kit."

His first spot on Saturday. I really have no idea, I told him I might pick something out of his book of designs he's bringing along or he can draw whatever we feel like doing that day. Playing it by ear. I'm just happy to get anything by him, honestly.

Horitomo. Two sessions, all electric (rotary and coil). Photos do not do this justice! I will say that first four hours of outlining and shading was super hateful. Of course, I am already considering having him do my left shin. What is wrong with me? 😜
