Tomorrow I leave for what has taken about 2.5 years to pull off. Tattoo gods willing, Dobleman and Tomo next week! I am hoping to swing by Idle Hand tomorrow afternoon to support SNAFIT event. As luck would have it, there is also the Haight Street Fair happening. Silly excited. I feel like a kid at Christmas!

@suburbanxcore Well, not much at this point but I have a few feelers out. I held off scheduling anything since my world has been chaos. I talked to Grez, so hopefully he's saving me a spot...I want a ray gun to commemorate by radiation journey. 🙂

Follow up: Emailed Scott about my stomach and he replied with "I'm totally in." He hasn't started booking yet, but we'll figure that out in the very near future. Hopefully a few of us can meet up! @Gingerninja - What kinda chaos do you have lined up for that weekend? yet. @Bearcat78 daaaaamn. Goin for it! @Boiled Dove I had a few free weekends not long ago and wanted to drive down to Absolute while Marina was there, but she was only doing weekdays. Hopefully you can get something!

That is going to be one hell of a weekend. One day maybe in a year or two once I have some money saved up I will go to Pagoda or Bay Area con! Kerley has been on my list for some time and I was sad to see him jump coasts before I could get to him, although my track record shows that being on the other coast doesnt really stop me.

At a museum once, saw the alphabet into colored pencil tips. I thought that was pretty cool, but those sculptures are AMAZING!

I'm gonna use your "blow-out" as a metaphor: Part of the tattoo/line is a little too deep, the ink spread... Because you got in over your head with this tattoo, just like the line, it got a bit deep, then up it pops for a little air- you waded back up into shallower water, where the comfort zone was/is.... Blow-outs happen.... and if you weren't such a beginner in the "getting tattooed" pond... You would have been totally fine swimming in the deep end of the pond, cause you would have known... Hey, it's not just a "you pick it, we stick it..." It's a hey.... kinda big deal, but regardless, you would have been prepared for such a thing.... PS. It really sucks when someone has basically no tattoos, and they come into a place and start using "jargon" that they don't even understand, a little bit of manners, and a lot of mutual respect : will get you everything in a shop. Regardless.... I wish you the best in your tattoo collecting path.... And lots of luck.... When I was 18 and in a shop, I really do wish someone would have looked out for me... I didn't have that until I started working in the second tattoo shop, of my career... And I use the age of 18, because that's baseline beginner age, to me... I have an entire arm of dumb ass clowns... CLOWNS. And they cannot be removed. Just looking out for ya kiddo. AND I HATE ICP. but with this dumbass entire left arm: everyone thinks In love ICP. NO. Looking forward to Pagoda in August! Getting a rad half chrome tiger head from Tim Lehi on my hip, a lucky mallet from Acetates on my inside thigh, and whatever pops out of Matt Kerley's line book and tickles my fancy haha. Not much room left now.
