  1. I ran across some well made videos on Youtube by Kings Avenue Tattoo. They're only about a minutes long, but still fun to watch. They don't have many subscriptions, which is a shame since they're so well done. Take a look and see what ya think. Kings Avenue on Youtube

  3. Browsing around the board just now, I was struck by how often folks asking questions about tattoos they want to get or tattoos they have gotten end up getting similar responses, as their issues often correspond to a fairly narrow set that come up again and again. I thought it could be cool to have a thread where we list our generally accepted "tattoo advice" and wisdom in one centralized location. We could point people to it when appropriate. For example: 1. Thou shalt never haggle in a tattoo shop. 2. Thou shalt not try to force a tattooer to tattoo an exact replica of an image you've brought in. If you are going to a skilled tattooer, you will always be better off letting them turn your idea into an actual tattoo design that will work for this medium. 3. Thou shalt consult with your tattooer for questions re: design, sizing, placement, ideas, aftercare instructions and any touch-ups. 4. Thou shalt not stress about how your new tattoo looks until it is fully healed. 5. Thou shalt accept that flaking, scabbing, swelling, itching, and a whole bunch of other uncomfortable stuff is all totally normal when healing a tattoo. Thou shalt only be concerned if it doesn't get better after weeks, or if it smells or looks infected. Next?

    Hi everyone

Hi everyone! I'm a 24 year old and just got my Master's degree in public health. I have one tattoo but plan for many more. I'm a huge fan of body modification in general. I'm a huge animal lover and have a few dogs with my boyfriend. I'm currently studying to be a health educator. I've also been binge watching a lot of things on netflix recently I'm also a PS4 gamer and pokemon gamer.

    Relationships and tattoos

I've always loved tattoos on girls/boys/whatever you identify as. My boyfriend wants to get tattoos, but is currently waiting to be in a better financial place to get some. I'd be fine with dating someone who never intended to get a tattoo (as long as they don't hold my tattoo over my head).

  18. Try reading their sources: http://www.nowtheendbegins.com - self proclaimed magazine of record for the last days About Chemistry: Chemistry Instruction, Projects, and Periodic Tables - about.com says it all anybody can post anything Wiley Online Library - I don't know WTF this is Live Science: Scientific News, Articles and Current Events - cites the dermatologist from the original article, basically using yourself for a reference Breaking News and Opinion on The Huffington Post - another article that cites the dermatologist in the original article Science or not? | Separating science from nonsense - a blog by someone with no significant credentials, but says, "I have to withhold judgement in this case. On the positive side, I couldn’t find any evidence that tattoo pigments are responsible for serious harm." Further, according to the FDA's Arkansas-based National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), research chemist Paul Howard, Ph.D, "There have been no systematic studies of the safety of tattoo inks." If you read through this nonsense, it is basically saying, "We don't know anything for sure, can't prove anything, haven't done any studies, but bad shit could happen."

  19. My sister gets a henna tattoo every summer, but it looks more bluish than black. I tell her that all the $$$ she's blown on those she could have gotten a couple of nice real ones. Then I get the blank stare... Rob

    Temporary Tattoos are bad

PPD Black Henna is really dangerous and can fuck you up way more than a scratcher

    Temporary Tattoos are bad

IMO it's better that these HS kids are doing silly temp tattoos than getting real, illegal, crappy scratch work.
