  1. My advise? Quit putting anything on it. Let it dry heal.

  2. Don't know if this is awesome or shitty. My last employer called last week and wants me back as a part-time consultant test engineer for about three months. Good money, but I've been having a ball in retirement working on an old motorcycle project. It will only be 20 or so hours a week, so the summer won't be shot, and I enjoyed the project they were working on. To keep this tattoo related, I stopped by to visit my artist yesterday and congratulate her on her recent engagement. Did a double-duty trip because the next block was where I had my drug screening for the temp agency.

  3. It will never look exactly as it did immediately after tattooing. Let it heal.

  5. I wouldn't do anything until you come to terms with your tattoo. It's very nice and I've seen a lot of people make things worse, not better when they rush to try to fix something. I've never had tattoo remorse so I can't relate, but you have a really solid piece that will stand the test of time. It's not like you got a monkey humping a football, or something stupid. Even if you don't grow to love it, it's not something you need to be embarrassed about. It's solid work, a solid design and you should wear it proudly.
