  1. Thanks folks, can't wait for the trip. Going to be a long few months getting through work knowing what is ahead of us!! @Hands On Yes, Ross is a great man and have sat with him on a couple of decent-sized pieces.

  2. Hi all, Long time since I posted here so I really must update with my latest pieces. Anyway, myself and the better half are taking some time out to do a bit of travelling this year and want to line up some potential tattoo appointments along the way. The current plan is is the following: summer in Boston (have a few shops in mind there), a few weeks in Cuba and Colombia. Back to Ireland for a coupe of weeks and then onto South East Asia; two months touring Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos then a month in Phillipines and a month in Indonesia. We may get in a few other places depending on finances etc. I'd like to get a hand-poked tattoo at some stage but obviously want to be going in eyes wide open and to a good artist. Any my other recommendations for shops/artists along our route? We're mostly into traditional work but not exactly restricted in that sense. Thanks again, folks!

  3. @Padji I would highly recommend my tattooist, Tommygunn from Belfast City Skinworks, or pretty much anyone there. They all do amazing work. And I also look forward to seeing your pics :)

  4. There's new video on YouTube made and about Jeff Gogue. It's him getting his 101 hours of work on his back in Japan, but also includes his work. He talks about have to surrender to be able to get a piece like that. Some interesting thoughts. I love his works and really enjoyed the video. Jeff Gogue - Surrender

  10. Just remember that less is more when it comes to lotion! Don't overdue it but keep your new tattoo lightly moisturized. It's still a fresh wound. :)
