If listening to tattooers talk about tattoos, tattoo history, and other random stuff tickles your fancy, then you might enjoy this podcast: http://www.noliesjustbullshit.com/ The first one i listened to was for the Everence discussion where Tim Hendricks, Mike Rubendall, and Scott Sylvia were clarifying their side of the story. Since then, I've gone back to listen to a couple episodes with Brian Bruno and Chris O'Donnell and I'm itchin to listen to more. A few episodes also have a segment called "Shop Talk" at the end, where each person picks a tattoo from IG and they critique it. I might be a late-comer since this podcast has been around since Oct 2016, but hey... at least i found it! If you knew about it before, why didn't you share?! Hey Folks- I am a filmmaker and tattoo enthusiast. I've been going to the Greenpoint Tattoo Company in Brooklyn, New York for five years now and the owner (John Reardon) and I have always joked about Parks and Rec set in a tattoo shop. Well, we made it- albeit in web series form. It can be seen here for free: Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Episode 4 Episode 5 There is a bit more information and a binge watch version on www.inkincshow.com. It stars a few other tattooers and plenty of weird clients. We really wanted to stay true to tattooing and expose some of the more annoying things artists deal with on a day to day basis. I hope you enjoy it.

If you don't have time for NLJB since the interviews are longish, a new podcast called Tit for Tat Chat is available. It's hosted by Betty Rose and Zoe Bean....completely different vibe but I've enjoyed their episodes so far. Last week, they interviewed Michael McCabe.

exactly what @el twe said... keep getting tattooed! aside from the interviews here, there is a lot of great knowledge if you sift thru the right threads. also, feel free to share the tattoos, stories, and experience that you've gained so far!

The one thing it seems everyone agrees on when it comes to getting an apprenticeship is to GET TATTOOED. Show your enthusiasm, be patient, and maybe you'll get lucky. In the meantime, keep drawing! It looks like you've got an eye for it. Oh, and welcome to LST!
