  2. It's all about the first ~24 hours after the bandage/clingwrap is removed. If it's clean and not oozing (plasma) then you won't get any scabs. If it oozes and/or is dirty you'll probably end up with scabs. This is the reason why I prefer a proper bandage over night (and day after if I have any) instead of that shitty clingwrap which is removed after a few hours. It's basically too fresh and will ooze, and with nothing to soak it up it's going to form scabs. Right now I have one that is a giant scab, and one that healed nicely in 7 days. Guess which one got which treatment...

  5. In August we got a puppy. She is some kind of beagle mutt and it's lucky she is so cute because she is the biggest asshole I have ever met. Anyway, she and I would like to wish you all a merry christmas and happy new year.

  6. I am a big fan of hustle butter. One time I had zero scanning after wearing tegadem for six days. The next time I had very light scabbing after heavy line work. I apply hustle butter twice a day for a week after removing the tegaderm.

Really stoked. I had a consultation on Tuesday for my second tattoo at Enso Tattoo in Columbus, OH. Went great, really looking forward to it. He said he prefers to keep sessions to 3 to 4 hours and that mine will be 2 or 3 sessions. From what I've read, my artist is no nonsense and puts in a good hours work. Waiting to hear back for my first appt. It's going to be a color half sleeve asian tiger on my left arm. Below is the reference print I gave. Looking forward to posting pics of the progress.

  8. Another session down; had to tap out after 2 hours as I've been sick and just exhausted lately. But, eyes on the prize!

  9. I finished my back 9 years ago and it hurt like a bitch. I prefer the traditional look anyway, but they tend to go a lot quicker too. Which is always a plus. Richard Stell did this in only two sessions. The first one was about 4 1/2 hours and the second was 10. Picture taken 10 minutes ago...

  11. My first tattoo was on my forearm, and holy shit did I notice the dirty looks at first.. years later I forgot. In the mean time I've gotten; 2 full sleeves, full chest, full stomach, 3/4 of my back done, 1 leg done, both hands, and one on my neck, still not too many dirty looks. About a year and a half ago I decided to get my head done, and holy F*** the looks I get now hahahaa.
