  1. That's not normal. Treat it like any other scab; keep it clean, at this point I don't think there is much you can do beyond waiting for it to heal and staying away from whoever did that.

Thanks, forgot. I added two ideas I found I may look at getting.

  3. Nothing more to do except let it heal. I had one like that last summer...let your artist know and plan for a touchup.

  4. The first lines my artist did on my back were right on my love handles. I thought, I'm not going to be able to finish this! I got into the zone and got through it and then I thought, if I can get through this, I can get through anything. A couple years later I started working on my current piece that goes on to my stomach - a whole new level of pain for me. My artist always says, just because it hurts isn't a good reason to not get tattooed. DOH!

  7. Yep. You're just going to have to wait a couple of months to see what it's really going to look like and if anything can be done to modify it.

    Tipping Question

I've got some really bad Karma from my younger days that I'm trying to make up for so I always tip well.

    Tipping Question

I tip. Some people expect it (usually artists in the US) and some don't (around Asia and Europe). I remember my tattoo artist in Denmark (he's British) being so surprised by the tip and the little gift I brought for him that he asked if he could give me a hug. I thought it was adorable.
