  1. Well, there used to be monthly contests here for tattoos. Check out the LST Announcements and Contests section! The TOTM have been suspended due to low participation which is super sad...

    Please help

Thank you so much for clarifying Dan. I had thought the same and the artist had also said so, but some friends started pointing out that it's been done the wrong way and so got a bit confused. Much relieved now :)

  5. Worst pain was around the nipples, and between the major bones on the head. Knees, elbows, sternum, and between the knuckles by all means hurt but wasn't anything in comparison to between the bones on the head. That shit hurt.. oh and the belly button wasn't a very fun day either haha

  6. That spot was so odd for me @kingpinsbarber. Not only did it sting, it felt like they were tattooing a place somewhere on my head, not my neck/spine.

  7. Whatsup everyone! I'm back with some more work from Alex. This guy is epic. I've fallen in love with another tattoo! My rib cages, back, and chest is finally completed after nearly 6 years of getting tattooed. :) Lets see how long I can stay outta the shop this time lol.

  8. worst so far, very top of my back where the neck meets spine, then my pubic area F***ing stang. its so different for everyone i do however find that most pain doesn't relate much to speed/ease of healing

  9. Went to Smith Street about two months ago and had the opportunity to grab this NYC rat from Bert. It's above my ankle. Pretty thrilled.

  10. Looks over moisturized. I'd let it dry for a three to five days and see how it looks.

  11. Super inspiring stuff here @Gingerninja @Hands On @bongsau @Colored Guy and @Boiled Dove - giving me the itch! Now that winter weather is settling in up here it'll be much more comfortable to get tattooed, too...

  14. Welcome to the forum! At this point, your pieces have settled in and are continuing to heal. We all heal at different rates and it takes 6 months or so to fully heal. I'm not sure how much moisturizer you are using but it "could" be a reaction to the moisturizer - either using too much or just generally having some allergic reaction to this specific cream. You could try switching the moisturizing cream to another brand, or even cut it out totally now for awhile to see if that helps. In the end, your skin needs air to heal. Of course, the best way to ensure it's not an allergic reaction to the cream - or the ink - is to consult your doctor/dermatologist. I hope you figure it out soon!!

  15. Under advice from my artist I invested in a super baggy night shirt which I wear backwards and thick black tights as I end up face down ass out on the table! I then reverse the shirt and hide it under a big coat to get home after! Also have a loads of massive men’s t-shirts for sleeping in after and little back vests a size too small for the day (to try to hide the no bra move - not easy due to huge boobs!) Hours left to do but here is progress (not the ass bit for social media!) so far! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    cellulitis

The original picture looks like a bruise, but not the 2nd. The 2nd doesn't look like any blow-out I've ever seen, but I can't imagine bruising lasting 5-6 months. On the other hand, I am neither a tattooist nor in the medical profession . . .
