Time depends on a combination of factors like how fast the artist works, how well you sit and how big the design is. If you're trying to guess how much money to bring, maybe your artist can give you a ballpark estimate (and always bring more than you think you'll need.)

    Upcoming Tattoos

Where did the latest tattoo lowdown thread go? Anyway, this past weekend was Ocktoberfest at Old Soul in Canonsburg, PA. It's a cool event where the shop invites a whole bunch of artists (like 60'ish) for the weekend. Some by appointment, some by walk-in. The trick is that everyone is queued up for a table/space to work since the shop has maybe 12 stations. The Old Souls guys have it running like clockwork...superiorly organized. You still have to wait but with the festival outside in the street and karaoke going on inside, the time flies by in no time. Nate Hudak made this for me on Saturday. He has a super light hand and is fast. Back of the left thigh.

  6. For others who might be interested, the scan passed without incident. My injured foot was all wrapped up in a boot, but I think that was just to keep it still. Both my legs went into the machine. I don't know how many Teslas it was, but my tattoos did not feel or look any different during or after the procedure. I asked the technician about it beforehand just in case, and she said the only time it's an issue is with old tattoos, prison tattoos, and tattoos people have done themselves at home. I had the same thought about iron, but I think the difference in magnetism is probably related to the iron being in an organic form (in your blood) vs. inorganic (in some tattoo inks). That's complete conjecture though, I really have no idea.

  8. Hey, I have had laser removal by a couple of different people and currently from one of the most reputable in New York. In the care package I am always given sterilized lancing needles and told to pop blisters, let them drain and clean with hydrogen peroxide. Although they look a mess they heal up fine. Also I'm given bandages and told to wrap for half of the day and then uncover when i get home (I usually remove after work, clean and pat dry with a paper towel). The bandages last about 4-5 days so I leave uncovered after that. I have done this for about 6 large sessions with no issues. So I wouldn't worry!

    Lower leg tattoo

Well this mug is norwegian ;) I'm pretty sure the majority are americans though, yeah. Cool! I'm a metalhead myself, and the music that's been made (and still being made) here in Scandinavia is something I'm very proud of - especially black metal. Hehe yeah, norwegian and swedish people have no problems understanding each other. Spoken danish is a bit difficult for me to understand, but if it's written it's almost identical. Finnish is completely out there, could might aswell be chinese. Your quote in norwegian is "det finnes ingen svar", - 'there are no answers' for those who may wonder - so yeah pretty close. Actually I don't think I've heard Lifelover before, just checked it out now. Sounds tight! Reminds me alot of another swedish band called Shining (check out their song Låt oss ta allt från varandra. Darkest shit I've ever heard, see if you can find a translation and you'll understand what I mean...) Ontopic: I wish more people opened their eyes to Saniderm or Dermalize. It really is night and day compared to that ol' foil wrapped on your body. Never healing a tattoo the traditional way again!
