I haven't posted in a while, but I got this done by Topper in Philly earlier today. So happy with it. This is my first highly visible tattoo on my forearm, too.

I'm headed to LA next month and I'm tempted to reach out to Derrick Snodgrass, Henry Lewis or Small Paul! The struggles real

From what I gathered, it looks like he divides his time between Philly and Detroit now. He wasn't in the shop when I was there, otherwise I might have asked him.

I am at my current saturation point! I need to finish what I have planned and get what I have that's unfinished, finished. @Baboom

June 22nd, and I gave him the options of either a T-Rex with boxing gloves, a grim goat reaper with tons of eyes, or a velociraptor Buddha. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends down there and avoiding the fire ants!

Thanks, I'm not feeling the stoke right now, I will once I get the call and see the sketch but for now its nose in the books and training for my sports season.

My backpiece by Chris Crooks is finished for now. Will be extending down to the knees this summer. Two full consecutive days to get it finished, forgive the redness and bloodinfused colors.

I didn't realize Matt had moved from Detroit. Just moved him to my potential Philly list.

He literally just moved to True Hand Society (still in Philly, but he explained to me he had more freedom with his schedule here) and it was his first tattoo at the new shop. He was so excited to do one of his favorite subjects as his first one. In his words: "It's all downhill from here." I can't recommend him or the new shop enough. It was an awesome end to our trip. Matt Lambdin is at that shop now too, and my non-tattooed boyfriend was oohing and ahhing over his portfolio...so we might be back.

Love that one! It really exemplifies his style. Someday I'll get back to Philly.

I get this from time to time with older tattoos and have found witch hazel to be an effective salve to stop the itching. Available at your local drug store, and worth a shot...

I think that if you just add to it it's just going to look like a pentagram hidden in some other stuff. You're gonna have to learn a whole lot about how to pick an artist and communicate what you want before covering it.

@Gingerninja He said it would be about 3 months before he finished the drawing and his assistant called me. So I'm guessing that June-August I will get a call to schedule.

Started my new sleeve yesterday at la cour des miracles in Toulouse

So for April Fools Day I made a facebook post "looking for laser removal recommendations. I have enough business to put somebody's kid through college. I'm tired of looking like Walt Disney threw up on me. Time to grow up and look more professional." My father texts me 10 minutes later saying if you are looking for a laser removal specialist to get in touch with him asap and he will connect me with someone who does that. LIKE, TELL ME HOW YOU REALLY FEEL DAD LOL ...aaand the next day I win a contest at the tattoo convention. oh geez

hi @llap17 welcome trying to follow your questions here...first things first, just relax and let your body do its thing to heal. how old are these tattoos? tattoos superficially heal within a month but it may take several months to heal below the surface. tattoos in high mobility areas ie ditch, elbows, hands, ankles, etc will take longer to heal and are more prone to scabbing. the first tattoo - i can see the black area is looking a little crusty but it's still healing. if it's been a couple months mr.tattooer probably went a little rough. give it more time time. the remainder of the tattoo looks like he went too shallow IMO from the faded look of the lines and dots on the bottom of the tattoo. maybe its the healing and the photo quality IDK? but can't tell what the tattoo is supposed to be of aside from the inconsistencies. the second tattoo - if its a coverup, your bud is tattooing thick black over scar tissue. so it will be a little raised. that's ok, again just let it heal. some tattoos you can feel them raise, depending on different variable ie your body response and how the tattoo was made/applied, that's just part of the game and the risk. some people (myself included) will notice tattoos get extra raised depending on weather. everyone's body and skin is different. don't worry you're not going to die or lose your arm. just keep getting tattooed. maybe try someone new with a little more finesse in making the tattoo. cheers
