So for April Fools Day I made a facebook post "looking for laser removal recommendations. I have enough business to put somebody's kid through college. I'm tired of looking like Walt Disney threw up on me. Time to grow up and look more professional." My father texts me 10 minutes later saying if you are looking for a laser removal specialist to get in touch with him asap and he will connect me with someone who does that. LIKE, TELL ME HOW YOU REALLY FEEL DAD LOL ...aaand the next day I win a contest at the tattoo convention. oh geez

Well, I did think the rib piece was yours...but stand by my comment that your planned cover up sounds awesome!!! I was 61 when I got my first and my mom was in a nursing home. I wasn't sure how she would react - she smiled and said it looked great.

So I told my parents yesterday about my tattoo plans... bearing in mind I'm 42 years old. My mum: "oh dear, but you won't be able to wear vest tops and stuff in the summer then?" Me: "errrr, no? What?" She genuinely thought I was going to go through all that and NOT show it off? Mad woman!

My mum had a look on her face like she had smelt something particularly unpleasant when I was telling her I did consider not telling them and just popping over to visit next week with new ink all done but thought at their time of life the shock might be a bit too much lol!

Haha, @Alicia. I'm 45, and my parents HATE my tattoos. I dread telling them every time I get a new one. I feel you. :-)

As a plain skin, I always wondered why all the shops burn incense. As someone who is tattooed often, I still don't know if there is a true meaning behind it. (this is where I get jokes thrown at me now) lol

I like getting the first appointment of the day,I like a big healthy breakfast then a 11 am or 12 ish appointment time. that way I'm refreshed with a good night's sleep and good meal and ready to go. then yes @el twe ,it's beers directly after and relax out of the sun the rest of the day. LOL and like @el twe also said,good idea to get it the day before your days off from work.

I tell everyone, when in doubt, get a dragon, bigger the better. Panthers are always in as well. Panther and a snake is another one.
