I'm not great with photos but here are a few progress pictures from this last month with Lehi.

It was great seing you again Gareth! Although I have to admit I felt like a sadist at times too, haha. You're tougher than most!

Made another Oslo trip last week to start a cover up on my lower stomach. While i was there i picked up a namakubi from Nicholas at Blue Arms. The cover up is ongoing and i don't mind admitting i'm very apprehensive about the next session! This was not a fun tattoo to get although Marius did his best to keep my spirits up and a visit from LST's own Mr @Iwar definitely kept me distracted from the significant pain!

Got this kitsune from Matt Arriola yesterday.

Unfortunately he doesn't travel much at all for tattooing. Would certainly make my life a little easier if he did!

Sarah did a first pass at correcting the faked line on my forearm that another artist did and I hated. After 3 laser sessions (one a two-pass session), it was ready. She did the lining and some grey shading. Looks thousands of times better. She will add color in early March. This is going to settle nicely, I think - and I'm already real happy with it. I booked my flight and my stay in San Jose, I have the consultation date, I have the deposit; I'm coming for you Horitomo. March better get here fast so I can get this process started! I will probably say something similar after the consultation when I set my appointment to start.

If you want a tattoo, you need to warrior it up. At a minimum, it's going to be uncomfortable. Read the link that @SStu referenced above and you'll see that people's experiences are all over the place. The net is if you want it badly enough, you'll do it. For me, that spot wasn't too bad. I have my own pain scale (I call it the suck factor) that goes from 0-5. My right hip, thigh and butt for two different tattoos in that area had an average suck factor of 2.5.

Thanks! I've been a fan of his work for awhile. I think he does some of my favorite big cats, reapers and roses.

Been away for a while, had issues with my account and had to open another one. We got a new kitten in May, his name is Ivan. He's a feral rescue at 5 weeks old. A bit of a handful, but everyone loves him. I got my old Ford insured and registered in July, have about 1200 miles on it. Running well and still de-bugging it.
